Keep going back….I’d say maybe Stanley. I will say this, Petras never had as much time as MG - but he had cement shoes….so probably a wash.
It is embarrassing at this point. It’s just unacceptable, but here we are. Year after year after year…. Nothing changes? Why? How can you continue to be this bad on offense. Clearly Gronowski ain’t the answer.
It’s not the quarterback. What do we not understand about that? We could play Mahomes out there and it would not matter.
I understand where the problem is. I also can see that mark isn’t the answer. They aren’t mutually exclusive.
He was younger and healthier. We paid a dude that appears to be mostly washed up.
Has nothing to do with our offense than? He’s just all of a sudden washed? Think if you put in Kansas’s offense he still look this way?
Too much play not to lose. You know when we get into FG range the buttholes pucker up on the sidelines and unless a RB breaks a run to the house, then we are kicking a FG...less risk ya know.
It’s what makes losing close games like today so frustrating. They look worse than the service academies trying to throw the ball.
Feel bad for Phil. He did it again on defense. I was wrong about the LBs, those dudes are studs. TJ Hall saved the game in the secondary, Lutmer, etc……the list goes on, such a sound unit, great tacklers paired with a jr high offense again
If The Walter Payton award winner isn’t the answer then nobody is. MG would look better on every other D1 team in the country. He could play for any of them and average more than 100 ypg passing.
How many QBs in a row are we going to see look this inept before it’s clear that it’s not just the QBs.
