Iowa ran a QB keeper with 11 defenders inside 10 yards of the LOS. Nine of them defenders were within the box.

Fact we refuse to throw down field against loaded boxes is maddening. We take one deep shot he’s open and get a PI. Never try again let alone wait till 4th qtr. Klatt calling the game a former D1 qb pleading and begging for Iowa to take a shot. We had maybe 5 throws that were thrown more than 10 yds downfield today. Pathet

This was a game that you break out the double moves to counter their DBs sitting on short routes. It was a game where you utilize the screen game to counter the front 7 aggression. We did neither.

If they're going to do it, mix in more option runs instead of designed QB powers. Give the defense something to think about.
