Big win Saturday night in California. Duke started slow but the second quarter was some great play on both sides of the ball. The offense with QB accuracy good receivers, really good backs and experienced offensive line recipe for success.

The CT game was a nightmare. Worst tackling I've seen is a while plus no containment around the ends. It was almost as if Cutt was back on the sideline. Scary. Defensive line was awful. No pressure on the CT qb. The entire defense was ineffective. Mensa is as much of a liability as he is a benefit. He fumbles and is intercepted at crucial times. I cannot see us winning any of the remaining games given that we cannot stop anybody. OFC

The QB Baker from UNC and Brown went to same high school. New coach at VT recruited Baker when he was at Penn state. I think Brown made mistake leaving

Well, let's see. Duke football exceeded expectations in 2025. Not so rosy in 2026, however. We lost our QB (Mensah) without an adequate backup, our top two receivers (Brown and Barkate), our best DB (Moore), and we have the second worst recruiting class in the ACC. Our defense was second rate last year, and this year we will not be able to make up for that by outscoring our opponents. Given all of that negativity, are there any reasons to be optimistic this year? I hope so, but right now I cannot think of any. OFC
