Watched the Bionic Woman season one. My first crush that I remember, predating Princess Leia. The first few episodes are from the 6 Million Dollar Man. This was a spin off. I cant hold her she's breaking up. Pure nostalgia.

Finished Cobra Kai. Damn, that was amazing. Cheesy as it may be, it's fantastic nonetheless. The final season gave me so many fist-pumping moments, along with several moments of tears in my eyes a few times as well. Great stuff.

Saw Superman and Weapons. I thought they were both average, but I seem to be alone on Chris island on this.
Picked up an XBox one super cheap and i love it. I can play a lot of 360 games on it and got the GTA remastered trilogy. Alas no college football or hoops.

You didn’t like Superman?? I loved it and fantastic 4. Interested in weapons and saw its the same director as barbarians. It’s streaming on Netflix so I tried it and I’m very mixed on it

I loved Superman. Had a ton of heart. The Naked Gun was a nice throwback. The new season of King of the Hill is freaking hilarious. And I have also loved Peacemaker.

Peacemaker is very comical season 2 just started the first episode was good .
trying to get into new shows now but you got to make sure they haven’t been cancelled or your waisting your time . Watched Motörhead on prime thought it was pretty good but no news yet on a season two and I thought water front on Netflix was good( I’m bias I’m from NC and love the Wilmington and Southport area) but it was cancelled .

Seems like an interesting topic that other boards have. What are you currently watching? Recommendations? Recently I saw Wicked and really enjoyed it. I am also binging American Horror Story and am on season 5; Hotel. I also like British cop shows like Prime Suspect, Cracker, and the Level. Also Inspector Lewis is a good British cop show. Inspector Morse is the original. I liked Yellowstone and 1923 as well.
The tv series Newsroom on HBO is very good.

Countdown on Prime is pretty good. A documentary I watched not long ago on Netflix called "Unknown Number, the High School Catfish" was worth the watch. Still stunned who the guilty person was.

It was crazy right . It had a lot of twist and turns and the stuff the boys family said at the end was a head scratcher especially when they found out who it was but never suspected .

Wicked was a great watch! If you’re enjoying American Horror Story: Hotel, you might also like Penny Dreadful it has a similar eerie, stylish vibe.

I’m in the process of watching The Wire on HBO for the first time. I’m about halfway through the fifth and final season now. Seasons 1 through 4 are some of the best TV I’ve ever watched. I’m still undecided on how I feel about season 5. Overall though, unless they completely bomb the finale, this is one of the best shows I’ve ever seen.

Before I started The Wire, I watched The Pitt and it was great too. Old school emergency room drama with great characters and storylines.

Re watching homeland it’s a good show . Season three of the night agent is ok but not sure they did enough justice for it to cancel the recruit on Netflix .
Watched the first episode of the Marshall’s . It was ok not what I thought so far .

Shows I have really liked of late …

Landman (love it)

Tehran - really intense show set in Iran. Israel spies. Very well done.

Pluribus (amazing. But I love Rhea Seahorn and Vince Gilligan is a genius).

The Night Manager (two series’ so far; book was a le carre masterpiece).

My wife and I watch or try to watch all the Oscar’s nominated films.

My favorite movie was One Battle After Another. I thought was brilliant. Genius. And so powerful. Never a dull moment. It was the best movie imo.

Sinners will battle for best picture and has the momentum. Could win. It has a lot of powerful elements. Loved many parts of it. But I think One Battle is better.

I also think Hamnet was incredible. So emotionally moving.

rewatching the middle with one of my daughters which is fun, she’s 4 and asks to watch it so it makes me happy to get to turn it off of cartoons lol

extracted is amazing watching it as well

finally made it through episode one of fallout and I’m just not sure it’s for me

Watch fall out with my son . It was good but you got to be into the game according to my son to get the series lol. Guess I’m a little old.
Curse of Oak island is good . We have watched it since episode 1.

Absentia and Night Agent. Both among the best I’ve watched lately. Lincoln Lawyer- average.

Watched the original Salems Lot. I want to watch the recent miniseries but I can't find it. Big King fan.

There are three different adaptations, Chris. Tobe Hooper's 70s miniseries isn't very close to the book, but it's fantastic. The Rob Lowe one from the early 00s has its moments, but is largely a miss. The newest film they made was a huge letdown. You can't adapt that novel into a 100-minute feature. Just not enough time to flesh everything out.

The Rob Lowe one was okay. I own both. Didn't really care for the Ben and Susan actors. But some good moments. They filmed that in Australia and sprayed the grass white.

Watched Sleeping with the Enemy. It's pretty good; not as good as I remember. Too many shots of Julia Roberts smiling and/or crying; she was fresh off Pretty Woman so she was America's Sweetheart.
Regarding the Shining has anyone else noticed when Jack talks to Grady in the bathroom it looks brand new, almost futuristic? It is completely different from the rest of the hotel; almost as if the hotel is eternal.

Not a movie but a game. Wii Fit and Wii active are kicking my butt. Apparently my Wii age is 65. I jogged after my hot Wii trainer on a beach for 15 minutes. I need a nap now.
