There is absolutely no valid reason to bring Clark back this season.
It would take her a minimum of 3-5 games to get in a groove.
As a 7/8 seed...you're getting Lynx or Aces in 1st round.

The Mercury are just a better team. The Fever didn't have quite enough to get all the way back. Mitchell balled out again. Lexi was good, too.

Agree - would much rather Fever announce CC is done for the season than the masquerade that's going on.
The Liberty started the season 9-0. It's pretty shocking they now have 17 losses. They've had some injury problems, too, but even after getting Jones and Stewart back, and adding Meesseman, they've continued to lose.
yeah, the Fever might have just 5 games left (3 regular season + 2 postseason)
If Clark ever becomes ready to play, you play her.
Better yet, I'd like to see her get traded to a first-class organization like the Valkaries. The Fever organization is a mess from the front office down through the GM. And you might include their training staff as well who after six weeks still can't get CC in shape to play.
Exactly. If she is medically cleared, she absolutely plays. Manage her minutes if necessary but you just can’t bench Clark for no good reason.

Reese reportedly said she doesn’t believe her teammates, Rachel Banham or Hailey Van Lith, are capable of leading a playoff team.

THis. She's bought in to the narrative thats she's really good because of attempts last season to prop her up vs CC22. She works hard, but she's NOT skilled and she's not a great player. They have a new coach AND new roster and the same crap record. MAYBE she needs to look in the mirror.......
Chloe Bibby is done for the season, so the Fever have signed yet another player. Hall was with the Fever in pre-season and got dropped.
