I’d rank us ahead of Kentucky, Vanderbilt, and Arkansas. That’s about it for now.

I get the vastly unequal opponent factor --

but OM looked as good if not better than Tenn, Texas, FL, SC and TAMU in week 1.

They will only play FL and SC.

They might just beat LSU in Oxford and if that happens UGA will probably be their only loss until the playoffs or the National Championship.

Get ready to avoid the water coolers on Monday -- if not all season.

Ole Miss always beats the HE!! out of weak out of conference opponents , you cannot read too much into their performance.

Since Kiffin became coach, Ole Miss has won 45 games, eight of which were against ranked opponents.

For reference, Alabama and Georgia have won 23 games against ranked teams over that span. Hell, State has won seven games against ranked teams during Kiffin's tenure. Kentucky has won nine!

I edited out all the sh*t that doesn't matter.
He wins the games he's supposed to win. That isn't a knock. That's obviously better than not winning games.

But they've also played the fewest games against ranked teams of all SEC teams. My guess is you could surprise any SEC football fan with this fact today: Mark Stoops has more wins against ranked teams than Lane Kiffin since Kiffin was hired at Ole Miss.

Which makes their rare loss to Kentucky last year so hilarious: Not only did it keep them from the CFP, it is probably the only game he's lost that he was supposed to win.
