Finebaum spent 20 years sh**ing on everyone not in the SEC, including Texas. Now that they've joined and Alabama is no longer Nick Saban's Alabama, we get what we see now. Nothing Finebaum says should be taken seriously. He is a paid SEC shill, nothing more.
Last year after the CFP he was on ESPN morning show and basically agreed with all the panelists about the B1G being the better conference the past few years. Then later that day on his call-in show on SEC Network he was completely walking it back making all kinds of excuses and not saying the B1G was better.
He's a complete shill. Now that the SEC isn't the only conference buying players, we're seeing what's happening.
