Some good games tonight

I thought Nebraska and Cincy both looked good at times, and should be well above .500 for the season. Nebraska at least this one game stopped peeing down their leg and giving the game away. If that continues, a big if, but if it does they have the talent to get a lot of wins.
I was also impressed with Cincy, that got the crap kicked out of them last year as a new member of the B12, and they looked like at least this season they can compete in games. It does take time for schools moving up a few years to compete unless they have elite talent like Oregon .

Are you really this dense? When you change the actual outcome with what might have happened, that’s a hypothetical. Your hypothetical is as likely as mine.
Where did I change the outcome? I stated facts. The first turnover led to a Nebraska TD. The second turnover ended Cincy's last chance. Turnovers are often the difference in a close game. They were here as Cincy had 2 and Neb 0.

I'm not a Cincy fan, just an observer. Bad turnover at the end of the first half cost 'em the game. Could have taken the FG at the end. I pull for B1G teams in non-con games. It's good for the conference.
Evidently i need to explain hypothetical to you like you're a 5 year old. Hypothetically one bad turnover cost them the game. Get it???? Not likely.

All 4 teams that played last night looked bad to me.

Nebraska barely won against an inept Cinci offense, and it certainly wasn't because of a stifling Black Shirts defense.

Rutgers barely beat a MAC school. They're going to be terrible.

Minnesota didn't cover against Buffalo at home. They'll do the same thing they do every year, win a few, get ranked, then absolute tank it. I'm sure PJ Fleck is fired up.

Wisconsin led 3-0 at halftime against a not very good Miami (OH). Since firing Paul Chryst, they look as bad as I can remember in my lifetime. Luke Fickell caught lightning in a bottle at Cinci, but he can't coach Big Ten football.

The bottom half of the Big Ten is going to be absolute trash.

No credit when Nebraska owned the head to head from the late 70s to 2014, so no credit to iowa for it’s recent success.
Nebbie ruled the Big 8 when it was only Okie that gave you a contest. Then it changed when Colorado got their act together. Your best years are light years behind you. You act like Nebby was a powerhouse for years. You had a nice little run,but its over. Kirk owns you..LOL

I'll be curious what Illinois looks like tonight against Western Illinois...
I've been hearing Illinois is a potential Playoff Team..
I know they were good the last couple years... but that's with Lovie's guys..
I'm not sold on this current coach..
we'll see

If you missed the Evy years in the 50's I'll forgive you. Iowa has never lived in the past like Nebby fans. Thats all you got.
Lol……52-25-4 winning 64% in 9 years….why would any iowa fan be “living in the past” based on those numbers????

Nebraska’s past greatness in better conferences than the bigten will fade if they remain average or worse, but it won’t happen my lifetime.
