Swiss singer? WTF? She lived in Switzerland.
The Ike and Tina Turner Review was the first concert I attended. Held at the John Long Center at the University of Scranton. 1975. Still have ticket stub. $5.00!
Man I hate when sexy people grow old and die.
This is simply spine-tingling.
RIP, Queen.

RIP, Queen.
She gave up her US citizenship in 2013 and was officially a Swiss citizen. She lived on the shores of Lake Zurich.
Damn. She was awesome.
This isn't her in a video but it is such a cool mix of her and Ike's song Nutbush City Limits...
think my first main exposure to Tina Turner was as the Acid Queen in the Who's rock opera Tommy. definitely legendary. Rest in Peace.
Well I said sexy but the clip there also implied people who are talented. I should have said talented sexy people.
But you're nice, so I wouldn't want to see you go either.
I was thinking about Ronnie Spector last night. They are similar to me and I cherish them both and now they're both tits up. I cried while watching the clip I posted. Until Mick was an A-hole at the end and ruined the mood.
That is a very Minnesota thing to do. If you stand still at MSP long enough, we'll claim you.
What a life. Rags to Riches to Rags to Riches. She was legendary and luckily for her she got out of the relationship with Ike before something tragic happened. There are bad dudes and then there was Ike Turner.
Tina greatly benefitted from early MTV. The “What’s Love Got to Do With it” video was like a thunderclap and was in heavy rotation restarting her career to even higher heights.
RiP to a legend.

Is this it? I watched very little MTV, so I don't know what was and was not a hit on that station.
Just presenting facts. Not saying she is a Swiss singer. Kind of jealous, I want to live on the shores of Lake Zurich, or Lake Como, or a lake anywhere in the Alps for that matter.
She may have had the best body ever. Her legs were like a candy
She was awesome.
Geez remember when MTV was good? My favorite show was 120 Minutes.

In Tennessee, the late singer’s tiny schoolhouse has become a museum containing memorabilia sent by the star herself
