At this point I would say no, but if last year taught us anything, it's that it only takes one off night in March and your season can end just like that. I'd say that loss to Westmoreland last year has probably been in the back of their mind since then and I'm sure that's their fuel for this season.

Do Lancaster play any one outside of 1a or 2a it's kinda hard to be battle tested playing teams you are expected to beat just my thoughts.

Yes, they play a lot of preps, academys and private schools with D1-D2 recruits.

They've already played and beaten Christchurch, Cape Henry Collegiate and Hampton Christian Academy. They've also beaten a very good Northampton team and have a game scheduled with Altavista who as we all know is a perennial contender, not to mention the NND is always one of the best districts in the state for 1A

Franklin looking really tough as well..Stingiest defense I seen in awhile.They have some tough games coming up against Brunswick, Nansmond River and Washington County out of N.Carolina.With them being 1B, they wouldnt face Lancaster until states or could it be earlier ?

The earliest they could potentially play them would be the state quarterfinals

They would have to get out regionals first. Won’t be an easy task. Have a friend living up that way. Told me last night some tough teams in 1B playing mostly 2-3-4 A teams.

Franklin plays 5a Nansemond river on Jan 7th at western branch tournament all 4a, 5a, and 6a schools. Franklin the only 1a school playing. We will be ready for 1b.
