It's all about MATCHUPS! Congrats Panthers!

All about matchups is absolutely right. Congrats Massaponax! I'm glad you all beat Freedom. Look forward to hosting you all at the Forge next Friday.

Louisa beats Ponax by blocking the winning FG, winning by 1.

Louisa loses to Patrick Henry by 1 on a game winning FG.

Ponax beats Freedom on a game winning FG.

Do football gods really exist? Or is it proof how important special teams truly are?

Although special teams played a huge part in the outcome of the game, it was also Freedom's lack of discipline to contain the triple option. It was also their lack of discipline that got them behind Colonial Forge 21-0 before they and refs made a comeback. I wasn't surprised at all by the outcome of this game. Hoping Colonial Forge will maintain they're disciplined play and come out with another win against Ponax.

Congrats on a great season Panthers! Keep it going next year, some key pieces return. Just don't whoop up on my new Lions too badly.
