Both teams will pound the ball and try to outmuscle each other. Amherst at home might be flight advantage but JF riding big Mo with win over LCA. Winner gets edge and possible elimination of a region D, 4A participant. Weather will be nice. First to 45 wins.

This game will be in the lead for the Seminole. Both coaches are really good friends. Should be a big crowd. I hope JF brings a good crowd. Amherst played Two teams that won state last year which has helped them

In my opinion, Amherst will feature the biggest defensive front that JF has seen this year. The Cavs do a tremendous job of trap blocking up front and creating space for their playmakers. Both teams are run first style teams, but when they put the ball in the air they have both been very successful. Should be a great game in one of the toughest places to play in the Seminole. Amherst always brings a great crowd of passionate fans, and JF travels really well.

I agree about size upfront. Will JF be able to keep Amherst off balance? Also, Amh plays about 6-7 guys both ways but not QB or RB, does JF have any depth concerns?

JF depth is better than it was last year for sure but some concerns in 2-3 positions because of injuries.

It’s my understanding that coach Phillips coached on coach christmas’s Staff down in South Georgia back in the day.
