Wow. Great job for an amazing few years at GW!
GW's coach for the 2012/2013 (Carr) was supposed to be there for a while and to make a long story short, he's been to the NCAA tournament 2 times and is now the director of basketball operations at NC State. Parsons did a great job under the circumstances of taking a program over unexpectedly. He's a great man and he cares about the kids. The most amazing aspect was that he brought the team GPA up from a 1.7 to a 3.0. GW will be in good shape. The JV players that are coming up are really really good. Bad thing is, a lot of this year's varsity players play football and will be late starting as their football team could very well play up into November/December. Whoever gets this job definitely has high expectations regardless.

Agree. Going to be a big responsibility.

Any word on the finalists for this job? I know David Lee and the JV Coach, Jermaine Parker, were the two that most of the players thought would land this job.
