What a game!!!! Both teams came to play. If Pettway would've took it up straight without the razzle dazzle then it would've been over. Pettway is one hell of a player!
Martinsville missed a shot to tie at the end. 60-58 GW. Great game. Grasty was the one who banked in the 3 from way beyond the top of the key to tie it up with 3.8 secs to go. Again what a battle. I think GW just made 1 more play than the Dogs tonite.
It was definitely a classic. Martinsville should be very happy about how they played tonight and vice versa for GW. Martinsville showed tonight they still reign surpreme even with the loss.
I just hope the Dawgs have energy, for the game against R E Lee tomorrow nite. Dawgs are real, don't ever doubt it.
These young guys will go home and eat a good meal and will be prepared. Coach Atkins is a wizard at keeping guys fresh. When I played for him at Carlisle we went 4 hours to Fishburne in Waynesboro on a school night and then turned around the next day and played at North Cross in Roanoke. Dawgs are much deeper than we were. He'll have the Dawgs ready.
