I'm hearing a big time transfer is making his way across Rockingham county to Spotswood. Anyone confirm?

yeah I too have heard that. in fact I heard the girls transfer wanted to go to Spotswood with her sister a few years ago but Broadway said they would protest so the girls wouldn't be eligible until the following year.
It matters if contact was made before the move(s)! I agree though .. the VHSL has to grow a set and hand down some serious penalties for this to be stopped. Fact is that anyone could name 8-10 players (boys/girls) in the last 8 years that have ended up at Spotswood. That is NOT a coincidence.
it was posted in the DNR today that it's official, James Sullivan will be playing for the Trailblazers next season. Apparently there's a Harrisonburg player moving into SHS next season also who has a lot of promise.
I read the article today ... it reads for family reasons but implies for basketball reasons. Grottoes to Bridgewater is 20 minutes max. No one from SHS wants to talk in mid July because it wasnt legal yet, but he went to TEAM CAMP 2nd week in June with SHS??? Like my name says ??Really??. The kid basically says that the move is for basketball. Again I say .. total crap .. but "legal" total crap
If Sullivan is D1 I'll be shocked unless its to a bad program like Longwood or a similar low level bad program. I saw him play this past weekend in Myrtle Beach at AAU tournament and many times over the past 2 summers. He's an ODAC type kid that wouldn't even play much right away at a good D3 program. That being said, it's still a shame this type of thing goes on but I'm sure the folks at TA aren't losing any sleep over it.
