AltaVista outscored DR 14-2 in 3rd quarter. AltaVista played a 2-3 zone defense entire game, and DR never adjusted. AltaVista went to FT line 26 times, DR 13 I believe. Good article on game in Lynchburg paper.
Playing at Altavista has always been a tough place to play at even when I was in school . Congrats to the Colonels on their win, they controlled the game play and forced DR to settle for outside shots . Hopefully, the Wildcats can use this loss to refocus and get ready for the Conference 37 tournament.
Proud of Dan River's JV boys on their win as they are a win away from their 3rd undefeated season in 4 years. Shamar Parker knocked down at least 6 3-pointers in that game! I love his shot.
