Tough week for Martinsville

1-2 will be a good week, 2-1 will be a real good week for the Dogs. Games like these will help come tourney time.
I like this Martinsville team. Them and GW will be a classic when they play both times in Feburary. I think Cam Bradley is the best defender in all of 2a and Holland has improved his game tremendously and Coach Mike Jones is getting a steal for his Radford program. Is Jay Dandridge getting any college looks? 6'2 PG, you'd think he'd be getting some.
Good post. Jay Dandridge is a good ball player. One of the very few that I've seen that can shoot a jumper off the dribble. Cam Bradley is a hound on D as u said. I like his efforts on that side of the ball. Holland is a beast.
Very true. If Martinsville can play disciplined basketball, they're almost unbeatable in 2a. Very skilled on the defensive end, they can score points in bunches and they have athletes at every position. Very rare to see that at the 2a level.
I would've liked to see them play a few other larger schools, Roanoke or Greensboro schools.
They do get Northside (#1 in the Timesland, MHS is #2) in a couple of weeks at the Roy Stanley. That, along with the two dates with GW, should give the guys all the pre- postseason tournament tests that they can handle.
I like Dandridges game as well. He is a solid lil QB as well. He light on his feat.
