Regardless of what happens in the 2nd half of the class B game or any game tomorrow, it is safe to say that replay has been a catastrophic mistake. It has slowed the game down a ridiculous amount, and they still got calls wrong. Harsh was in, and it really wasn't close. I can't help but wonder what is being accomplished here. Get rid of it asap.

If they use replay correctly the score is 13-13 or 14-13. If you are going to stop the game 5 times in a half, you better at least get the call correct.

They didn't call that 3rd down play on the goal line a TD though. They overturned that fumble that led to Skutt's 2nd TD. I'd rather have them get it right. Especially after witnessing a player catch a ball a good 1.5 yards out of the back of the end zone in a first round game this year.

I like it. It doesn’t slow down the game that much. But refs need to continue to work to get calls right. It’ll be better in future years.

Colossal disaster. Disappointing that the technology is available and they don't utilize it properly.

Your comment illustrates what is wrong with instant replay. There shouldn't be any "refs need to continue to work to get calls right." They literally have it on TV right in front of them. They should never get it wrong after replay. If they do, replay isn't working.

according to the football director who was interviewed he said they had 2 guys that know what they are doing, one is a pac 12 whitehat and another college official in the replay booth, so they know what they are doing, now the white hats are nervous as a w-------- in church when they have to talk, that is my only concern. if they have the tech they should always get the play right, I was not watching the class B game so I have no clue as to what went down but if it's that obvious then overturn it or do whatever it takes to make it right.

I think as more officials see the technology and get a feel for how it goes the better it will be. We don’t know what camera angles the refs see. It’s a trial run system now, but it needed to happen to get Nebraska HS football into the 21st century.

I fail to see what was accomplished. Yes, there were some calls overturned, but not all of them. If it isn’t 100% accurate, it isn’t worth it. You either have human error and don’t stop the game and live with the results (old way), or you eliminate human error and stop the game to make sure everything is right. They made sure to stop the game, but definitely didn’t get everything right. So again, what was accomplished?

More people complained that instant replay was needed over the years compared to some of the missed calls last night IMO.

I think as they continue to work with the technology and the officials it’ll be fine.
