In my mind its a great job. A supportive community that backs their high school teams, on the upper end enrollment wise of C2 without a huge risk of going into C1 anytime soon, decent facilities, playing in a very competitive conference with many C1 schools to prepare you for postseason play in C2, Im guessing a good solid weight program in place based off the football teams success for the last 10 years, and traditionally good athletic families in the district. One of the best C2 public school jobs in my mind.
Why is it open?
I don’t know why it is open. I saw an ad in the Omaha paper advertising a 9-12 Science position and boys basketball was also available.
ACICOD is spot on again, as usual. I believe that the head coach is going out west to like Chambers to take on the principal gig at that school. I would think that both principals the grade school one and the high school one would apply for that position but i'm on the outside looking in so i do not know that for a fact.
Wow, this surprises me. Anderson is a great guy and a great coach. Competed against him back in my high school days in the Mid-States. Wish him nothing but the best
well he probably got his administration degree and decided it was time to use it which doesn't surprise me in the least, if you are going to go and get that degree you probably want to use it or else your just wasting you money that you spent, plus he has a surplus of kids so this way he will probably be able to be home more often and watch them grow up or make more time to have another.
Battle Creek is a great school. Kids work hard, nice facilities good tradition, and the community cares. That’s a big aspect why I like BC. Plus your close to a bigger city in Norfolk but you have the luxury of living in a smaller town.
