Does anyone know of a team camp in the state or close that has more C sized schools (C1 or C2) attend? We have gone to USD in the past and ran into some very large schools that we had no business playing against.

I believe Columbus High had one last year that Wahoo attended. Not sure what other schools attended.

St Paul High School will be hosting an 11 man team camp through Epic Football Camps on July 27. It usually runs from 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Last year we had all C-1 and C-2 schools. Hoping to get 9-12 teams this year for camp.

Gibbon High School hosts a Jamboree in June and again in July. Typically there are 8 teams or so. Dates for this coming summer are June 13-14 and July 2-3. We go from about 10:00am to 1:00pm. Each team gets about 120 snaps per day. Cost is $10.00 per kid for each day. We have had 17 different teams come over the years, all of them are C1 or C2 teams except a class B freshmen and sophomore team.

Lots of great summer football opportunities out there. It really just depends on what you are looking for. UNK and Hastings run nice team camps, both have smaller schools there. If you just want to play football than something like Coach Fuller described above at St Paul or what we host in Gibbon is a good fit. If you are looking to take a team somewhere to have bonding time, stay overnight, food included, practice, and get a few scrimmages in than I would suggest going to a team camp offered by a college.

Thanks guys, really appreciate the feedback! We were looking for more of a team camp at a college as we host an Epic camp ourselves, but wanted to find a camp that had a separate session or camp for smaller 11 man schools.

Virtually every college in Nebraska hosts a team camp of some sort. I think Chadron, UNK, and Hastings all have large C1/C2 counts for teams.

It was about 20 years ago since I attended, but does Doane still do a linemen camp? If not, know of anyone that does linemen only?

I understand most colleges host one and Im sure with the state many are populated by C schools
I was just interested in finding one that had a separate division for smaller schools.
I know Hastings does this but it does not line up with our summer schedule so I was looking for another one.

Pretty sure that Morningside has a camp as well. Pretty sure Ponca has gone to that one in the past.

I see. Like you said, Hastings has two sessions of their 11 man camp. They tried to devote one to smaller schools and I think ended up with 2 total teams is all.
