Yes, I watched that game. My scouting report is as follows: MC 37, AM 13.
I have been watching them.
MC post Elliot putting up that much?
Will the defense make that big of an improvement?
I obviously need to see them in person and see the scrimmage to assess how things play out, but I'm very optimistic about the defense in 2025. Last year, they had one freshman and two sophomores starting. The defensive line should be their strongest since 2012-13, with Quinn, Tucker, and Jones all returning. Six starters are back overall, along with several players who spot-started or rotated in. One of the cornerback positions was a revolving door last year, but some talented incoming juniors, like Rogers, should solidify that spot. Additionally, a transfer has joined to bolster the secondary at one of the safety positions. The offense, without Elliott, won't score as lightning quick, which should reduce pressure on the defense and give them more rest.
