My only thought is that they ruled it was touched at the 10.

Unless they said Morris didn't touch it or Highland touched it first.

Morris ends Highlands season in baseball and now football.

I'm afraid the run comes to an end next week though. Morris doesn't have anywhere near the speed to keep up with Morgan Park.

Facts are arrogant? Literally just stated what happened. Said nothing of Highland, which by all accounts is a solid program.

I think Sycamore has more than a chance to win it all.

Watched some of the Metamora/Morgan Park game and I just don't see Morris being able to keep up with MP.

JCA will be fine against Peoria as long as they play their game and don't try to go up and down the field with Peoria like Morris did.

I'm not a "Redskin" .....my kids went there, last one over 15 years ago. Hell, I been to maybe 4 games in about 6 years.....Not sure if you have a beef with 4Afan and have me confused with him or what.....but man....quit being a dick....it's a damn high school football board.

Ref question...can you not return a 2 pt. conversation attempt in HS? Morris intercepted a conversation attempt and as the defender started running it was blown dead. Can you not run it out of the end zone on an intercepted conversion attempt?

You cannot. Play is just ruled dead immediately.

Morris touched it but highland didnt have full control in the end zone before going out of bounds, so touchback, penalty on the play moves them back to the 10

Was out to dinner after the game and a group of guys at the table next to us asked what I thought about the call....I said it looked like Highland didnt have control....They said the were the crew that did the game and that's what happened....and Morris got the ball on the 10 because they had a penalty on the play too.
