IMO... Bradley has been flying under the radar all season as a very overrated team. The fruits of a very favorable schedule. LWC should handle this one rather easily. It's been a pretty dream path for both teams in the playoffs. However, it's always an adventure playing down there!

B-B called for hurdling on what would have been a first down. Announcers have no idea what's going on. They thought it was a false start and dont know why it was a 15 yd walk off. B-B then goes for 4th and 13 and doesn't get it.

Unbelievably sloppy game. Bradley moreso losing the game than LWC winning it. Cannot tackle. No adjustments to stop run game. Penalties galore.

Coach Woodburn has LWC playing at a high level. He is a good coach and was excellent at LWE. Love seeing him succeed at Central and get them back in the playoffs. Don’t count them out. They will be a tough out.

Are there easier paths than others? Im not that dumb.
At every HS I attend that has a banner as a IHSA Semi-finalist, is there a recording or asterik diminishing their feat because of the schedule? No.

You sound like a WSCR Radio caller saying the LWW semi-final is better than the LWC Semi berth.

Not at all. They got to the semis by beating who was in front of them. Nothing wrong with that. I can do that while also pointing out that they had one of, if not the, easiest paths to get there in the state. Walk and chew bubblegum kind of stuff.

They could very well upset Batavia next week

Yea I agree both things can be true. LWC is talented and earned the right to be in the semis. At the same time, it can be recognized that is one of the easier paths for any team in recent years and people will remember that too.

Lincoln-Way Central is the surprise of 7A and 8A as well to date. They are making noise to be another LW210 team to discuss . Lincoln-Way West had Batavia on the ropes and just missed the KO. Go Knights!

If LWW kept with the run game in the second half I'm 99 percent sure they would have won. They took advantage of Batavia coming out flat in the first half and then inexplicably changed their offensive gameplan

Been happening at BB now for a few years. Lots of talent, questionable coaching/play calling. LWC shows what happens when you hire program builders and intentional coaches. When its all flash and dash like the previous HC, once the shine is gone, its just junk.
