There is not a single game anywhere near me this weekend. The closest is Wilmette, which I have visited several times. Actually thinking of Byron, Sycamore or staying closer and going to Wilmette.

Byron is home to the best wings I’ve ever had. Hairy cow brewing. Great beer and great pizza, but those sticky sauce wings are just unbelievable. Sorry I must be hungry, but had to chime in!!

I second this motion. Stopped there after a game. Well fed and good cocktails

Stormys or Meiers Tavern after LA, then MS nightcap

Problem solved
Actually makes the most sense, but still haven't given up on going to Sycamore or Byron. Wish Warren and LZ were home.

And Meiers looks like walking distance from LA.
It is indeed.

I don't know how this game is shaping up crowd-wise, but the colder weather may keep people away. If it's a decent crowd, and if you have thoughts about going to Meier's after the game, my strong advice is to avoid parking at LA or in overflow parking at New Trier. Instead, street parking on Laramie just a little bit south of Lake should be easy to find. You can walk to Meier's after the game (try the DAB in a frosted stein), and your vehicle will be close by.

I have indeed parked on Laramie south of Lake on my prior visits, probably you that recommended it!
