Great timing with LT showing signs of life, right? Assuming that would sway some kids
Even when Naz is going good as long as LT has the right man at the helm it shouldn’t affect LT too much. There’s so much talent in those halls. Naz might put a small dent into the LT’s, HC’s and to a lesser extent RB’s of the world but those schools are such good schools (and free) that even an elite Naz isn’t going to cripple them. Naz at its best has to pull kids from many different districts. It’s just not sustainable to survive off LT and HC district kids. I’m glad to see LT have some success this year, I think they’ll have more next year but I don’t know if this is a new LT or just one of their standard 2 year upticks they have experienced every so often in their history.

Plenty of people have a strong dislike for Catholic schools when it comes to high school sports, and that's the extent of it. Most of these same people who dislike Catholic schools (and vice versa) would still not think twice about helping someone out with a flat tire, paying it forward in a starbucks drive thru, holding the door, doing business, or any of the other thousands upon thousands of normal decent human everyday acts based off of a someone's high school athletics allegiance. Anyone who actually holds on to true emotion that effects their everyday well being based on a high school athletics contest (small number on BOTH sides), there's no helping those people.

The whole public/private thing is such a waste of thought. There are so many grey areas for each side, your extremists on each side, your outliers on each side, etc...

It's definitely a 2 way street. And I'm happy to live in a country where my biggest stressor of the weekend is a private school beating a public school in teenage football. Like I've said before, these are 1st world problems.
Amen the problems that we so passionately argue about on here are so meaningless in the big picture and like you I hope that they’re the most serious problems that anyone on this board ever has to deal with.

Wow long thread but I get it. Feels good when your team is playing their best ball. Naz is on a roll! Good for them and their fans. I feel the same way about the LWE team. They are playing their best in these playoffs. LA is another hurtle for the griffins as is Peoria for NAZ! You got to love the playoffs!!
👍
I’m very excited for the LWE-Loyola game. I’ve really only caught some of the Bolingbrook game and some of the BB game. I feel like I didn’t see their best so I’m pumped for Saturday. I know LWE has a million kids in their program and they’re never short of talent but regardless of how much talent they have being as good as they’ve been for as long as they have against the competition they face is damn impressive.

People say “they’re a machine” like it’s easy. That ish is hard. Getting to the top of the mountain is tough but staying there is damn near impossible. What they’re doing there is amazing.

That just made me think… Naz is NOT LWE by any means but they’ve played in the state championship 6 of the last 8 seasons, with 3 wins and hopefully one more loading.

Hard to not be impressed with NAZ. Happy for their fans. Appreciate the kind words for LWE, spoken like someone who truly understands HS football.
Good luck next week.

You are as rabid a member of any posse as any other Nazareth poster. So to talk about the posse as such is literally self referential.

That is all. It's not an insult if you like Nazareth as much as we do.

But seriously I love ILB, I just found it funny he kind of talked in the first person.

Also don't take my posting style as ever me being mad. I am blunt yes, and don't mind going back and forth with banter. But I am not mad guys.

When I'm mad I curse far more lol

This is fighting?

Can really tell some of you are suburban
Hahaha no, no fighting. I just don’t care what anyone thinks here anymore, excluding Naz people. Being the upstart program slamming the table demanding respect is exhausting. I just don’t feel like I need to fight those battles anymore. I don’t think you’ve seen that from me in awhile.

I hate it when mom and dad fight….can we all hug it out Saturday?
I wanted to post the Taylor Swift “ok sure” gif just so you guys knew it was playful but I’m too dumb to figure that out.

You gonna go Saturday?

No I don’t want you to melt down I just haven’t seen a good one for some time. Remember I took a 2 year break from the board before breaking my sobriety about 3 weeks ago.

There have been some solid eruptions from other fan bases. Threads dissappear and those who missed it are always sad.

Is this the return of that loosely based association of Nazareth fans that are not exactly of sound mind?
