Appreciate posters weighing in on what BR may bring to the table next season in McCaravan's thread, but scheduling BR with Week 7 open is an interesting move.

All.... Kind of late looking for games but here is one for you if week seven hasn't been filled. A short 277 miles away the Brother Rice Warriors from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan are looking for a 10-7 game. They might even do Saturday the next day if you make the drive. A school of about 700 with a good pedigree in football as of late. Gas up the bus and road trip! Ratsy

That's the start of a Trivia question...partial name credit accepted i.e. a school beating both Dr. Phillips of Orlando FL and Chicago Wendell Phillips (IMG?). Mount Carmel may have already pulled off beating both Brother Rices in the mid 2000s.

I’d look for a cupcake week 7. With your first 3 weeks plus @Naz and a decent Benet and ND team you don’t want to play around with not getting the 5 wins. I’m guessing some CPS team will be open that week and hopefully have the balls play SR......or at least schedule you and forfeit so you get the W.

Pretty sure Mustang pulled it off in the 80’s. I think they played the. BR (MI) Warriors at the Silverdome some time in the 80’s.

Wow @go_rice , @Topiary may pull your alum card or at least place it on suspension.

While the Mustangs did have both Brother Rice’s on the schedule in 1985, they only beat the Michigan one, 23-21, in a non-air-conditioned 100 degree plus Pontiac Silverdome. The nationally ranked Mustangs went on to lose to your Crusaders in conference play and the playoffs.

Hey, wait a minute, you know that already, (I’m sure it’s still mentioned on the daily announcements on Pulaski for the past 37 years). You played me into typing it out for all the edgy world to see. Awww you little rascal, I oughta…

It was quite an accomplishment for BR to get down state that year only to run into the best team I’ve ever seen in the state.

In all sincerity, the way it was worded I thought it meant to ever beat both schools. I didnt think it meant in one season. And I may recall the Mustang may have beaten BR once or twice in the history of the two schools.
