I think you saw those adjustments in the second half. Alot more 0 coverage/ blitzes. The cbc qb only had 90ish yards passing compared to over 300 in the first half

One thing for damn sure , is EastSide can’t pull some of the antics that they did last night or it will cost them. It might even cost scholarships if you do that stuff on national TV. Walking over a dude. Wide receivers walking the CBC sideline after big plays. Lotta that taunting will be called especially the normal zebra crews in Southwest Illinois. That crew last night, maybe they decided to just let the boys play. Maybe they should become the Flyers’ assigned crew.

There should be some PTA assignments, as Coach Schott called his post-game sentences. Pain, Torture and Agony.

Yeah, the kids have to be careful with celebrations. I also think that what appeared to be receivers walking down CBC’s sideline was based on the fact that visiting fans are forced to sit on the home side behind the home sideline. They were simply celebrating with their fans. Why St. Louis builds stadiums with no visitor’s stands is beyond me….. it was all a pretty good atmosphere though.

I dont even know how this happens? I know espn doesnt technically schedule these games, but youd think they do some due diligence on this team.

Even just the pre-game announcers should have been looking up player profiles. Jeeze ...

By that time, it was waaaay too late. Lol. I’m sure their skills of adjusting on the fly were on FULL display. Probably highlighted the Ohio kid’s favorite ice cream to fill some space.

This is a colossal cluster something or the other. And why the hell is IMG playing this team? They must be the biggest morons of them all.

And did you see the national Teams they have scheduled? Those are all damn near airplane games. So many folks are stupid.

One thing I can say is that ESL gives the fans on this board something to talk about year after year. We want to be the best so we schedule the best. Win lose or draw, we show up and defend our crown. No other school in Illinois requires this type of attention. All gas no brakes!!!
