At 42 years old, he’ll only thrive with a line that blocks. Can the Bears provide that?

Bears need a QB, Brady probably needs a team. This could work.

The Bears parts on offense are no better then what the Patriots have, what do the Bears offer him that he doesn’t already have? He stays in NE and they sign Antonio Brown again.

Brady is not coming to Chicago. I have no idea why he would want to leave New England if they want him and if Belichick is still there.

He provides leadership on that offense and that’s something the Bears desperately need. We have the defense and can add a few players on offense. I would take him now. Reality is it won’t happen.

From what I'm thinking Belichick wants to move on from Brady, they need to think about the future. Brady with these parts is better than Trubisky with these parts and the D is good enough.

Sure he didn't have the best year and he's 42, but what else is out there that could help the Bears right now?

When you are as great of an athlete as some of these guys are, it just seems like they cannot let go (retire) even when everybody else knows it's time.

No matter how good you are Father Time is going to WHOOP your *** in the end.

Father Time is Mike Tyson the human body is Leon Spinks.

Bears should engage hoping that Brady can go another 2 rounds.

The age-defiant George Foreman won a belt at 45. Don't tell me football is more punishing than boxing. And Brady takes better care of himself than anyone.

Plus, he sold his house, as did his personal trainer. He also voided the last year of his contract. And then the last pass he threw last night was an interception, an omen if he's superstitious, and most athletes are religious or superstitious. Seems like he's ready for a change.

Never say never but Tom Brady the GOAT coming to the Bears to finish out his career. It will never happen but if he considers it, he probably have a talk with Brett Farve before he goes to the Bears or anywhere else.

As you are all aware, he is a god in Boston, he has all the money he will ever spend, he has a beautiful wife and family, he has been coached by the best mind in football and they are both on the same page, think again, he is finishing out his career in Boston.

I think the only way Brady signs with the Patriots is if they full fill a list of demands. They did **** for him in the way of receivers and tight ends. This might be the worse talent he has had and that’s not acceptable for a 6 time SB QB that’s 42 yrs old. Whoever he signs with they better give him a supporting cast.

Maybe his problem has nothing to do with Belechick and everything to do with Robert Kraft, an owner who likes to meddle with the football side of things. According to Bill Parcells, interviewed by ESPN in a "30 for 30" documentary, Kraft is the reason he left the Patriots and went to the Jets, taking Belechick with him. Maybe Kraft, a guy who got arrested at the Superbowl in Miami, is getting on Brady's nerves. Maybe Kraft pulled that deflating stunt and let Brady hang for it.

The Patriots signed Antonio Brown and had Josh Gordon that is probably the best 1-2 punch in NFL but they are head cases and neither could make it through the year. The Patriots lacked in some areas but it wasn’t do to lack of trying.

Finding damage good head cases was trying to strike gold in a copper mine.

Maybe Tom Terrific didn't like either of those signings. I think that he's concerned about his image. Parcells said that Kraft likes to be in charge of the draft. Remember Mike McCaskey? If Brady is concerned about his wholesome image, the Bears may not be a bad fit.

Tom Brady wanted AB. Kraft was the one who cut him. TB12 is really at a crossroads here. I think BB wants to move on from Brady, but Kraft doesnt. It will be interesting to see what happens.

I'm saying this as a Patriot diehard...ask @Quags57 he can vouch for me.

People were giving BB a pass as GM but these are moves he made...

They did a poor job of building the offense. They didn't replace Gronkowski. Matt LaCosse and Ryan Izzo maybe had 1 TD catch each??? Plus LaCosse was hurt often. WRs outside of Edelman, who was hurt all year, were underwhelming. Josh Gordon burnt out literally. AB, who really would have made a huge difference in the Patriots offense, harassed himself out of New England. The Sanu trade didnt work out, and now we lost a 2nd rd pick for that. Philip Dorsett lost his hands midway through the season. We were starting and playing with 2 undrafted free agent wide receivers, Jakobi Meyers and Gunner Olszewski, early in the year. Their #1 pick Nkeal Harry, spent 8 weeks on IR, and was never really on the same page as Brady. The running back slot was underwhelming too. Rex Burkhead was our best back this year. He only had a few TDs, but his versatility as a runner/receiver makes him so much more important than Sony Michel, who isnt good by the way. James White had been so important in the past with his receiving out of the backfield that defenses weren't covering him with LBs anymore, and he wasn't as effective this year. The 3rd rd pick, Damian Harris, literally did nothing this year.

Their offensive line wasn't the same either. David Andrews, their C, missed the whole year with blood clots. They lost Trent Brown in free agency, and Isiah Wynn, his replacement, missed 8 weeks on IR with turf toe. The 3rd stringer, Marshall Newhouse, was pretty below average, but given he was signed off the street he was ok. LG Joe Thuney was an all-pro and is an absolute stud. Ted Karras filled in well at C. RG Shaq Mason is very good too, but he was banged up all year. RT Marcus Cannon didnt have a great year, especially down the stretch. Brady took a beating this year, which the national media seems to neglect.

So yeah the offense did really suck, but you can see why it did. People pile on Brady, but the weapons were atrocious.

Their 2019 draft class was pretty useless too outside of Nkeal Harry and Chase Winovich. Winovich was their best rookie by far. Good on special teams and was a good 3rd down pass rusher. He hit a rookie wall down the stretch though. Other than that nothing. Stidham threw a pick six versus the Jets. The two offensive lineman they pick didnt see the field at all. CB Joejuan Williams was meh. Jake Bailey, their 6th round punter was probably the best pick. Pats were up there with the most punts in the league, and Bailey took over kickoff duty when Stephen Gostkowski went on IR.

So what's all that got to do with Brady and the Bears? And where did you get your information about any conflict between Kraft and Belechick? Belechick gets along with Kraft and is able to work with what he's given.

Patriot beat writers. National media. It's pretty widely known that Kraft was the one that said AB had to go.

Do the Bears even have cap space for Brady?

Technically, no, they don't have the space. But they have always been creative with the numbers, which is how they got us to pay for Soldier Field. The Bears paid $200 million for their share of the cost of the renovation. Meanwhile, the value of the franchise immediately doubled to more than a billion.

I really don't think Mike Brady wants to relocate his family at this point in his career. He is busy with three boys of his own, and now is married to a woman that has three lovely girls, all with hair of gold. He would have to move his architectural design business, just not worth the hassle for any amount of money. The youngest daughter would probably lose Kitty Karryall again during the trip (more drama) and then they would have to decide whether to send the six kids to private or public schools. And what becomes of the maid? She is like a part of the family.

Marsha's boyfriends would be stealing Brady's playbook.

Would Carol Brady's old boyfriend Tank be the backup QB?

This is how desperate Chicago Bears fans are to have a great QB. Sucks that we have never experienced what other teams have. The true leader of any football team is the QB. The Bears leadership seem to have not figured it out. It’s a joke!
