5 days until game time, whacha got?

I'll go with my standard:

Rutgers Scarlet Knights 92

Ohio University Puddy Tats 3

As always, I reserve the right to modify my prediction as we get closer to game time.

I think the offense picks right back up where they left off (hands off Greg, please) and Ohio is depleted by graduation and transfers. Parker Navaro scores twice but one man can't do it all.

38-14 RU

Rutgers with a solid offense has a couple of big plays but also just controls everything.

the defense does have a hiccup so I will give them 10 points but we are over 30. If I were to have to give a score- 38-10

Time to take next step
Offense rolls
New DE shows why he’s listed in top 100 and creates havoc in Ohio backfield

45-10

kbee, but he hasn't found his way onto this new site yet. Rutgers 28-27. Ohio had a very good year last year and so did Miami of Ohio. Neither of these games will be a cake walk.
Ohio and Miami (Ohio) are very good MAC programs. I don’t think either game will be “easy” but this isn’t 10 years ago. With the transfer portal and NIL, a middling B1G team should have a distinct talent advantage over a MAC school. Ohio’s best DL is now on the RU roster, if RU doesn’t have this game under control by the end of the 3rd Qtr, there is a problem.

But according to our nutcase they were 11-3 last year and we may lose to them!
But...Ohio actually was 11-3 last year! You're simply wrong. So funny how you can't handle facts and pathetic how you censor and silence posters who counter your daily b.s. with actual evidence.
Yup, gonna start seeing alumni interest waning at the small money schools.
Like the declining alumni interest at Rutgers? Donations are dwindling and football attendance has been awful for many years.

Oh by the way, here's my prediction:

Ohio 33
Rutgers 24

Announced attendance: 50,000
Actual attendance: 24,500

unless the alumni feel major bowls will be the result, I agree with what you're saying.
But if Rutgers becomes a top program , RU will be forgiven for padding the OCC with cupcakes and boosters will come out of the woodwork .
One top program in it's OOC is what RU needs to schedule every year , to keep the natives from getting restless

Any prediction should account for the quality of Ohio's fieldhouse. Those structures have magical powers.
Sounds like a fun place from a google search I made after reading what you posted

Wish Fanduel would give me Rutgers +9

Even though it's a Thursday before a holiday weekend I predict more than 24.5 in attendence.

I know Greg keeps this very close to the chest but do we have any idea of what our projected depth chart is?

RU does not beat the spread. Pepcid comes out in the third quarter.
I shall take this word of caution seriously because teams with good coaches who could prep for a Schiano defense all preseason.. they have done well. Maybe this is why the OVER line has been getting bigger.

But is this a Schiano defense?

I say no.. it is not. For years now we have not seen Schiano's pre-snap shifts on the DL. We don't know we'll see the rigid assignment D that put DBs out on islands and saw stunts that look longer to execute than the offense's immediate short pass plays and timed routes off a spread.

I will assume Ohio could not prepare for the defense we will show because it is a new defense for us.

This time, we contain the spread and defeat it.

Rutgers 44 - Ohio 20
