Though wish they had at least a couple of subtle red items. N on the pants and jersey. But either way I like having an alternate.

we lost in all blacks to UCLA when they finally realized TMart was injured and couldn’t run
Maybe a ‘red out’ or something against Texas 2010?
Lost in all reds to Oklahoma in 86?
lost to Oklahoma in 84 when we were doing some blackshirt power towel thing?

We didn’t wear any alternate uniforms in Rhule 1st season in 2023. Except for the blue trim on the numbers.
2009 Nebraska wore throwback uniforms which weren’t alternative uniforms.

I remember Broderick Thomas, the sandman, with the keys to our house in 1987. Oklahoma just came in and took them. 1 vs 2. I still remember how quiet it was on the way out of the stadium.
If this gimmick doesn't work, next year they can break them out against Houston Christian for the W.
However, the tie game against USC in 1970 propelled the Huskers into the national spotlight for the next two nattys.
