Wearing a black jersey for a noon kick-off in NOLA would be just stupid.
The script Wildcats and that god awful head logo…. elements of past uniforms I’ve liked the least
Yes. I think it brings together almost all of the worst. Very bad.
No , the black jersey will absorb heat ,improving muscle contractility, plus the jersey will absorb perspiration and the added weight will lead to improved line play as smaller players will weigh more. In cooler weather the jerseys can be soaked to create the same effect. NU is simply on the cutting edge of improved athletic function
That godforsaken cat head logo needs to go away for good. And what's with those helmets with the script "Northwestern"? Too many letters shoehorned into too little space. The classic Northwestern N helmets - the standard, easily recognizable ones for nearly forty years - seem to have gone out of style or something. Nothing wrong with mixing it up a couple/few times a season (the players seem to like that), but the default, go-to helmets should remain the clean, distinctly Northwestern N - similar to what Nebraska has done as far back as anybody can remember. If it ain't broke . . . . . 
Speaking of which, am I the only one who liked those early '90's black jerseys with the purple-on-white numbers? I'd love to see them go back to that color combination, along with purple and white Northwestern stripes on the sleeves.
The shoulder stripes that go the wrong direction look like a little red riding hope cape

I also hate the script Northwestern letters on the helmet. Dumb. Stick with our N, it looks great. We already have Northwestern on the chest, don't need it squeezed onto the helmet.
Why not wear that actual 1995 jersey? Makes no sense.
100%, pretty dumb marketing. People need to understand the history.
