You must be related. Are you Shirley?THANK YOU!
He did a bad job coaching here at NU. We know that.
The rest of it, the gossip that so many Husker fans LOOOOOVEEE is alllllll bogus.
Somehow the most recognizable person in the state of Nebraska is...
At Gate 25 partying
Is at golf courses totally drunk
Is getting kicked out of golf course for "tearing up the course" and being drunk
And there is not one single picture???
I smell a troll.Trev Alberts sabotaged Frost
Right!!??? Like when Frost left it up to the team to play a bowl during Covid season. I heard Alberts told him they weren’t playing another game no matter what. Scott, obviously bummed after making such huge proclamations earlier in the season about playing anyone, anytime had to eat crow because of Alberts and Trev told him verbatim to blame it on the team to shield Trev from any fallout.Trev Alberts sabotaged Frost
I don't disagree with most of your post, but what do you mean by this? What was debunked? He’s been smeared continuously as a Drunk for years. Only to have that recently debunked.
I am!You must be related. Are you Shirley?
Lot's of video and pics of a puffy faced Frost, which could be something else, but is indicative of too much time with the sauce. I hope he got that figured out.I don't disagree with most of your post, but what do you mean by this? What was debunked?
The story of him having too much to drink to make it to Dylan Raiola's in-home recruiting visit, for example, was actually confirmed by Sean Callahan himself a few years ago.
Even Rhule mentions it was a bad job. Under Frost the president had his foot out the door, zero athletic director support, fans who started rumors about his family.Right!!??? And don’t get me started on the Northwestern onside kick. What isn’t known by the general public is that Albert’s told our kicker if he didn’t onside kick after the Huskers got complete momentum of the game that he would pull his scholarship and release inappropriate pics of our kicker
I still feel sorry Frost - the way Alberts made him continue to blame Riley for the poor performances later in his tenure. What could have been if Troy D was his AD.
oh well … here we are now - UCF is so lucky. Hopefully Rhule can get as organized as Frost was.
Sean Callahan? The fake news media member who censors himself dropping a punt?I don't disagree with most of your post, but what do you mean by this? What was debunked?
The story of him having too much to drink to make it to Dylan Raiola's in-home recruiting visit, for example, was actually confirmed by Sean Callahan himself a few years ago.
I know it was absolutely horrible. If anything, we feel so much sympathy for him. He did everything he possibly could to get the program back on track - his work ethic was/is known across college football as the gold standard.Even Rhule mentions it was a bad job. Under Frost the president had his foot out the door, zero athletic director support, fans who started rumors about his family.
I believe it was Sean himself just recently posted here the Scott’s drunkenness story’s were not true. And mentioned there has been no pictures of him etc..I don't disagree with most of your post, but what do you mean by this? What was debunked?

Sean C saying "Yeah, something like that happened" is not confirming it.
I definitely don't think he was out there acting a fool all the time like some people say, but a couple years ago Sean replied to a post that went into detail about how Sean's kids and Frost's kids were trick or treating in the same neighborhood and he asked Frost his side of the "too drunk to visit Raiola" story. Frost told Sean that he and his wife went out for margaritas on their anniversary and he lost track of the evening and ended up not being able to drive, and offered to do the visit via Zoom instead.I believe it was Sean himself just recently posted here the Scott’s drunkenness story’s were not true. Frost is maybe the most private coach in all of CFB. But on that Halloween night he decides to to speak to an actual Husker reporter/podcaster and "spill the beans"I definitely don't think he was out there acting a fool all the time like some people say, but a couple years ago Sean replied to a post that went into detail about how Sean's kids and Frost's kids were trick or treating in the same neighborhood and he asked Frost his side of the "too drunk to visit Raiola" story. Sean presented the story like it was no big deal, but sheesh it's just mortifying, and whether Frost had "a problem" or not, it's clearly a story of someone whose priorities and leadership skills were way out of whack.
All that happened for Frost after the fact . Frost had plenty of support. It’s the reason he wasn’t fired after year 2-3.Even Rhule mentions it was a bad job. Under Frost the president had his foot out the door, zero athletic director support, fans who started rumors about his family.
The Margarita story in Arizona is 100 percent true. Dylan committed to OSU the next day . The stories that aren’t true is the Gate 25 stuff.I believe it was Sean himself just recently posted here the Scott’s drunkenness story’s were not true. And mentioned there has been no pictures of him etc..
Well some of us have a family member who belonged to said golf course and talked to eyewitnesses. Sure, it’s here say but it’s not unbelievable. I did some stupid sh## too at my country club at that age. Too many beers, a motorized cart and a wild *** buddy….sh## happens. Multiple head and assistant coaches at NU other than Tom had flings including supposedly a highly respected guy who I won’t share. They’re no different than the statistics for other men their age but they have WAY more opportunities to stray.Ha! Exactly!
It is crazy that all these "fans" have heard these stories and/or claimed to have seen it happening but yet...there is not one picture/video.
Plenty have the freedom to be a drunk knot head and to openly womanize. Just not the head coach of a major college football team.Well some of us have a family member who belonged to said golf course and talked to eyewitnesses. Wait a minute. Weren't there comments about him being the most recognizable person in Nebraska? How could a Nebraska reporter mistake him for someone else? In all reality, he isn't like a huge individual. With a hat and sunglasses on, I bet he could walk right past me and I wouldn't notice him. Where is Shaq walked by me with a hat and sunglasses on, I would say **** there's Shaq.Frost is maybe the most private coach in all of CFB. But on that Halloween night he decides to to speak to an actual Husker reporter/podcaster and "spill the beans"
Does that at all sound real?
There is a better chance that Sean THOUGHT he was talking to Frost but it was really just a dude dressed up like Frost for Halloween and that is where he got the story.
Not to mention, Frost out with his kids on Halloween and again, not one picture? I mean, that would be a golden chance for fans to take a quick picture and post it.
I always do love how the story is always the same...Well some of us have a family member who belonged to said golf course and talked to eyewitnesses. Sure, it’s here say but it’s not unbelievable. were you scottfrostsplaybook on the good site?Trev Alberts affair?
Rhule treated the family well and acted like an adult, stayed in touch with Dylan, and that greased the landing when the kid finally started feeling that he should play where Dad played. And he has more than put his best foot forward in getting both players and coaches to increase the chances that NU will have success in the years Raiola is on the roster.HC can snort coke off a stripper's @SS for all I care, just win baby! Scotty's W/L record didn't warrant a cold soda. The DR debacle is unexcusable and we were lucky to still get him but it definitely limited his peer recruiting
Right, and that's partly because Frost let it fall apart.Even Rhule mentions it was a bad job. Under Frost the president had his foot out the door, zero athletic director support, fans who started rumors about his family.
NILRight, and that's partly because Frost let it fall apart.
What was it that Frost requested from any AD and didn't get what was asked for?
Exactly right, astute pointNIL
Trev was against it, then dragged his feet backing the wrong collective
An absolute idiot
Trev, like some Husker fans, felt that these kids should be playing "for the love of NU"NIL

What was Frost requesting with NIL?NIL

Let's not pretend Frost or any of his D2 staff that he brought with him from UCF were even asking for anything from the athletic's department. If he needed something and wasn't getting it, it would have been a bigger conversation. He kept signing contract extensions and was perfectly content. I am not defending Alberts at all, but he was only the AD over Frost for about 15 months.NIL

Frost was making sure his boys Matt d and his HS buddy ( name slips me ) got taken care of running thier collective. They weren’t ponying up what they promised players. When Trev came aboard he tried to get rid of that collective and form another. It was a complete mess .Trev wanted to fire frost from day 1 but couldn’t. Trev deserves a lot of bashing. But his dealing with Frost is way down on the list of complaints. ( not even on my list )What was Frost requesting with NIL?
I agree, Trev was an idiot when I came to NIL (even though it was new, he had zero foresight), BUT was Frost also an idiot when it came to NIL or was he pushing hard to get help on it?

Scott Frost was 12-20 when Alberts took over, I don't care if that is when transfer portal and NIL exploded or not, he was a failure at Nebraska long before that. Being woefully behind would have hindered Rhule more than Frost, yet he won 5 games in year one, even with the poorly run NIL.Bigger conversations aren’t allowed.
Especially when the governor is on his knees mouth agape begging the biggest dipshit in all of athletics administration to stay.
The transfer portal and NIL exploded during those 15 months. We fell woefully behind. Perhaps the most formative 15 months in the history of college athletics.
Despite this obviousness & Frost’s pointed comments, people still rush to the defense of the university. Funny how preconceived notions work.
Trev is a moron & my ears perk up when Frost says he was undermining him even though Frost should’ve long been fired & didn’t deserve his extension.
Have never seen or heard a single instance of Trev enabling his people and getting out of their way. Quite the contrary.
No, it took a full season (‘23) and a viral public display in a press conference for rhule to get what he wantedScott Frost was 12-20 when Alberts took over, I don't care if that is when transfer portal and NIL exploded or not, he was a failure at Nebraska long before that. Being woefully behind would have hindered Rhule more than Frost, yet he won 5 games in year one, even with the poorly run NIL.
Additionally, there was talk of a transfer portal and NIL long before 2021. My daughter received NIL money in the fall of 2021, a mere 2 months after Alberts took over at Nebraska. He may well have hindered the process at the beginning, but Moos was the one who left Nebraska poorly positioned to begin with. Maybe Alberts didn't help, but it wasn't solely on him. In the infancy of the actual legalization of NIL in July 1, 2021, they were still trying to secure funding for the now finished athletic facility that is, apparently, the talk of the recruiting world. At that time, there was still concern over how many donations Nebraska was going to get to finish that project because Moos was a drunk and AWOL and Frost was failing.
Lastly, all it took was Rhule to tell Alberts what he wanted, and magically it appeared. Perhaps, Alberts was done with Frost and wasn't going to do anything to help, but it is amazing how quickly funding turned around when Rhule was hired. Maybe it was because the NIL groundwork and some sort of rules were in place, maybe the bigger donors realized that contributing to both NIL and the projects was beneficial, maybe they just wanted Frost gone before they went all in on the NIL and projects.
I think we might have to agree that Frost is a couple chromosomes shy of having an IQ > 85.
