Why we need the new and improved Memorial stadium with better seating and more bathrooms. Once I break the seal I'll miss half the game in the pisser.I just don't see it changing much. Having been to a bunch of away games that serve beer it didn't change much for me. The only thing that does suck is I had to pee more during the game and had to plan to make it to the quarter or half, but really haven't seen anything different at college stadiums that you don't already see.
Here you go big dog!I just don't see it changing much. Having been to a bunch of away games that serve beer it didn't change much for me. I agree.Yeah I'm generally a cheap skate when it comes to alcohol at games/concerts. Went to the Charlotte Coliseum a couple years ago with Mrs Kakdawg and she went and got a couple beers for us. She had modelo and I had a yuengling. Both 20 Oz draft. She brought the receipt back and it was 33 bucks. That was the first and last beers we had that night lol.
Caught a midnight happy hr at a local bar after the concert and made up for all we missed that night. Great show though. MT Westmore. Snoop dog, Too Short, Ice Cube and E 40 lol.

Ya if only 35 k average two beers thatās 770k / game . 5.3 million/ year. That's the standard price at the last few concerts at PBA and Omaha. Big money maker.
That's a great deal...which distributor is giving them the 70K free beers to sell every home game?Ya if only 35 k average two beers thatās 770k / game . 5.3 million/ year.
I am just saying what the gross revenue would be. But with that high of a markup it would still be pretty goodThat's a great deal...which distributor is giving them the 70K free beers to sell every home game?
I'll give maybe $3 for woke Bud Light. I know they bought a certain politician with a huge donation but I didn't see a dime of it!11 bucks for a Bud Light![]()
The prices that they come up with for these beers!11 bucks for a Bud Light![]()
Retail cost to them is less than $ 1.The prices that they come up with for these beers!
What does a 6 pack of Bud Light tall boys cost? 9 dollars, maybe?
It is not like they are paying for the overhead like a bar is, the stadium is already there, that cost has been fixed and covered. They are not adding more hours or labor any skilled labor.
That is what I would assume.Retail cost to them is less than $ 1.
I think it was WVU that said they lost money in the first season they sold beer. Not sure how but I think it was that school.Make all the money you can off the idiots
We need more intoxicated drivers on the road between 3 p.m. and midnight.Make all the money you can off the idiots
Exactly while spending 11 dollars a beer to get shitfaced . Thats going to be an expensive drunk.I know there is always the "More people getting drunk" crowd but is that really a thing?
You have a few groups of fans at the game.
You have fans that sneak booze in and you have fans that don't.
The ones that sneak it in are going to still sneak it in and/or buy beers.
The ones that don't, well, are they really going to all of a sudden get shitfaced at the game when they don't normally do that all because they are selling beers now?
No kidding!Exactly while spending 11 dollars a beer to get shitfaced . Thats going to be an expensive drunk.
I agree.
I am not buying beers to just sip and enjoy the taste. I want to get a nice buzz going and I don't want to spend 16 dollars per beer to do that.
