Coach Prime announced today that he was diagnosed with and beat bladder cancer. Congratulations to him!. He kept the news from his sons so that they could focus on making their respective rosters.

Shedeur dropped a bomb today in camp:

Glad Deion is cancer free and hopefully a health problem won't stop him from coaching Colorado all though this season.

I missed a doctor explaining the procedure on CBS this morning. Interested to learn more about it. Will have to search some articles today.

His stardom will only last until Manning is drafted next year…
IDK about that. While some of the old folks on message board may disagree, Shedeur has a very magnetic personality for the very young fans. Not sure that is the same for Manning.

Except that Manning will be number 1 and maybe the most anticipated QB/Name coming out of college in decades

More like notoriety achieved and stardom assumed but not yet proven.
Shedeur has shown the ability to handle disappointment gracefully the way he took not winning the Brown's starter position
(this google search result had me unpressed with the way he handles himself and seems like a far cry from being over egoistical )
>Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders has said he isn't concerned about not winning the starting position and feels thankful for the opportunity to play in the NFL
. The rookie has embraced his role and says he is using the time to learn and develop his skills.

Sanders discussed his perspective on the competitive situation in comments to the media during training camp in July and August 2025:
  • "It's not in my control": When asked why he wasn't getting first-team practice reps, Sanders stated he wouldn't even think about it because it's a decision outside of his control.
  • Focus on his own performance: Sanders said he concentrates on being "my best self at all times" and perfecting his own game. "I can't control any other decision besides that," he said.<
I'm rooting for him to succeed .
Arch Manning is another who impresses me: He was willing to sit until the starter left the program ,instead of leaving because he knew he would start at most other major programs if he went there .

Bladder cancer is a tough one and somewhat of a lifestyle changing event. Best of luck to Deion.

He got cut today. His other kid was beyond horrible last night too. Took a bunch of sacks ran backwards like crazy on a few of them. Idiot analyst Emory Hunt was blaming the Browns coaching staff for his poor performance. He has an agenda
