What does Bishop bring to the table offensively and defensively?
Offensively Murphy goes as #28 goes, he had another huge game last night against Polk and is finally back healthy again the last couple of weeks after playing a big chunk of the season less than 100%. #5 has been doing well as a change of pace back for Murphy, especially for a freshman, but needs to work on doing a better job with ball security. Murphy is very limited in the passing game, but has kids with the ability to make plays if the ball is delivered.
Murphy is pretty banged up on D, they had two of their top defensive starters out last night and a third who played limited snaps before going out entirely, he's also their kicker and punter and it hurt special teams pretty significantly. Two of those three kids are done for the season and it will hurt moving forward but hopefully they can at least get the other one back on the field soon.

I'm sure Murphy will be a big favorite, but props to Mark Holcomb for what he has done at Bishop in year one. They have already won more games this year that they won in the last 3 years combined. He was a great hire for Bishop.
First time with 2 home playoff games….Very young team as well, 9 seniors.
Murphy is very young too, only starting a couple seniors on either side of the ball. Their best player #28 is a senior though and losing him will really hurt but they have some good pieces to build around moving forward, including two really talented freshman. Biggest areas of improvement for Murphy going into next year will be getting more production from the QB position and improved LB play.
Murphy has the pedigree and system, Bishop has a very good coach (and staff) (not saying Murphy doesn’t as I know the history of coaches) plus Bishops kids are hungry as hell.
He's talented for sure, has to keep working hard in the weight room to get quicker and stronger but he has a bright future ahead of him if he puts in the work.

I will go ahead and say it before any of the old NW1A opponents say it. Bishop has limited seating and only on the press box side. Better get there early. Now it’s been said.
They have 5 legit receiving threats, that can all make house calls and one at 6’8. They can pass it!
If their stadium doesn't meet required standards, then Murphy can petition the state to move the game to another site. I think the appeal must be filed by Monday at 10 am.

CTK beat BM! Hayesville beat CTK 28-0. Don’t see this game being close
Murphy is going to roll these boys. He's going to get some recruits in. He's a good coach. But he's not beating Murphy.
BM maybe be a team to be feared. I noticed in the BM-CTK game stats that BM had 111 combined tackles (55 solo and 56 assists). Pretty amazing since CTK had only a little over 50 plays that ended with possible tackles.
Imagine what kind of stats they will have when they recruit better players
