No, but unfortunately that doesn't matter when it comes to the NCHSAA record books. Doesn't change the main goal of winning the championship either though. Bears remain on the prowl.

Bears have averaged giving up 1.75 points per game this season. Not bad. Mason scored school record 80th career td tonight. Still need to clean up some penalty flags.
All the flags on touchdown runs reminded me of playing Mitchell a few years ago.
Note: Mason set the school record for "rushing" Touchdowns tonight at 80. Jonathan Smith had 79
The school record for total touchdowns is 90. Mason is at 88. He is also short 16 points for tying career scoring record of 548 points scored in a career. Mason is at 532.
Well, they play North Stokes next week, so I think those records are going to last very long into next Friday.
Those flags on the long touchdowns and several other plays really did remind you of the Mitchell game two years ago. Especially in light of the officials NOT calling the Ashe holding of Dandy on play after play that every one in 6 states saw. One time the Ashe player all but tore Dandy's jersey and shoulder pads off and the play was directly in front of the side judge.
They called block in back and flag was thrown at runner. Her was only one around so how can he be one committed foul. A lot of ghost calls.
The officiating was definitely bad but I was impressed with the demeanor and attitudes of the players...Coaches were going bananas but quickly calmed down.
