What’s the thoughts on the 2023 wildcat football team?? Any transfers coming or is anyone leaving Draughn?

I heard they kicked several non athletes to East and Patton and added several football players from Burke County, NC as well as Burke County, Georgia. This will help them stay 1A.
Apparently there is a Burke County, North Dakota too, but they didn't want those kids because who wants anything from North Dakota?

Isn’t listed on the Maxpreps roster now and shows no stats for the season. Odd cause I saw him put up 20+ at Mitchell.
Maybe just focusing on football. Going to visits and camps and such. Heard he had a visit to NC State like last week or so. Still with Draughn then.

All I know is any player comes to Maiden has to do it the legal way. And live in the school district
We've had 1 QB transfer. Before sunshine it was Ethan Rhodes a 3 year starter born n raised in Maiden. Before that was kegan and was a maiden kid and before that was Caleb Farley. So 1 QB transfer in like 8 years.
Even if tillery comes to Maiden it's not a transfer. Because we don't do the Charlotte "games" of illegal kids. All our players actually have to move and live in the maiden school district.
I’m not quite sure Thompson lives in maiden the first time he tried to transfer. I’m pretty sure his parents came up with a address after the first attempt
His dad works at maiden elementary school. They live in maiden, they sold their house in Ashe county. The issue at the beginning was him and his mom living in maiden while his dad was still in Ashe waiting on the house to sell. And a lot of that had to do with a school ( bh) sending people to take pics of his dad like the Gestapo. Once the house sold he came down with his family
Once again lives in maiden. They were looking for a place in bandys but nobody was working with them. So they ended up moving to maiden.
Yeah but comment above explains situation. They had to find a new residence. The father told me the whole story and how much the rumors really tore at his pride of being his family's provider
That kid will have to grow up to make it in college as he couldn’t handle the fans at West Caldwell he got 2 technical fouls and also had his mom come out of the stands to say something to a kid in the student section but she didn’t, but his words to his mom was you better shut him up before I beat his a., so I hope he matures some before he gets to Carolina he’s to good of a athlete to act the way he did last night

Every conversation I've ever had with him.. he has been super polite and gracious. But he is a 17 year old kid, I'm sure emotions can get the best of any teenager. And who knows what was said to him.
