Already on Tamsulosin. & Finasteride. Way to many health problems caused by diabetes.

Just counted, I take 9 other Meds for, heart, cholesterol diabetic neuropathy, Glipizide Metformin & omeprazole & 81 mg aspirin. LOL, All caused by diabetes mostly. We all gotta go some time and sometimes I feel so ready. I missed Tramadol for degenerative disk disease in my lower back. It is like taking asprin because it doesn't help so I take 2 Alive with it.

Ths is why I don't make it to the games. Last game I went to my back hurt so bad setting on those bleachers & the cold weather, I left at halftime.

They are getting prepared for being under 400 1A, so by the time all over 401 is 2A they are hoping to have enough new players with the new coach that they may be in the top 1As in the state. After they joined the NCHSAA their girls won the girl's State Championship their 1st 9 years back to back before losing in the NCHSAA. They have an area in the triad with over 600,000, yes 6 hundred thousand to draw from in Forsyth & Guilford Counties & beyond including Winston Salem, Highpoint & Greensboro. Thinking ahead.
They also draw from asheboro

Still can't believe this move.. one of the most random ones I've seen in a LONG time. Guess money can make anyone do crazy things after all.

He's gonna have to hit the ground running on getting kids over to Kernersville or else it won't amount to much. Very, very hard to do given how many schools are in such a small area, and how many of the players around it's families aren't very $ fortunate. He will have his work cut out for him.

Along with Carver and their soap opera and I'm sure MIC's sagas as well the Catawba Shores conference is fixing to be potentially the most wacky conference in the state next year.

Well it's already wacky with 3 teams in the Yadkin River Basin in the Catawba Shores conference.

I think if he did retire as indicated the move isn't as wild as it once seemed.

Not sure why this is crazy. Double dipping is the only way a public school employee can comfortably retire. It was either this or up root his family and move out of state. He's definitely not going to pad his winning percentage, but if you're not thinking with your wallet you're doing your family a disservice.

Finally going to get paid. Had to retire from NC to do so. Because our state doesn't care about its' teachers/coaches.
Unless McGuinness is different(they’re in our diocese) he’d only get a raise from double dipping. Coaching stipends in the diocese are not large at all, even for a HC and teachers are paid less than public school.

Correct. He will be able to double dip to finally get paid. Had he gone to SC, it would be even better. Coaching pay is abismal in this state. I maybe made .25/hr during the season. The poor salaries at expensive private schools for their teachers/coaches, is a whole different conversation.

There is more risk in South Carolina. Most head jobs have no teaching responsibilities so if you’re fired as a coach they just show you the door. At least in NC your teaching job isn’t tied to wins and losses.

Not sure that's all accurate. In what I know from coaches down there. All I've heard is positive.

Holcomb is a really good coach and with his ties to the Davidson County Community he could get kids from North, OG and Ledford and make Bishop strong real fast. He can also dip into Forsyth and some of the city schools in the area.
Nope. If u knew how we view BM in the county nobody is knocking down the doors to go play over there especially when you're driving past East Forsyth to get there. Tell me where you think any kid with a drop of talent will want to go first? It could change down the line but not immediately.

He has a huge task. If any kid is coming to Kvegas and can play they're heading to EF first. Like I said on another post that could change down the line but currently everything goes through W Mountain street.

Having coached there previously (first playoff dub), there was excitement and energy. When that happens there was/is a new outlook. I believe the same is happening now. EF is a different animal!
