I swear there were more kids active in the passing game for Draughn last week. Anything long tonight, #1 went for #4. Very impressed with how MA composed themselves the whole game. They made that QB run for his life. You could tell he was flustered. That D1 line didn't hold up tonight at all.
I tried to tell em he'd run for his life now they know

Congrats Mt Airy just flat out took care of business. I had a feeling you guys would represent the west this year. We got extremely lucky last year when we visited yall. I knew then Da Bears would be a tough out this season. Bring the ship back to the west!
If Andrews had won we would have been traveling up there. It was big playing at home. Great crowd on both sides

I hope we will be the 2nd team from the NWC to beat Tarboro. They say only 2 seniors have been 1st string. All these guys will be back next year.
Yeah just happened when I turned it on I forgot it was on tonight.
Mason only had 17 carries for 290 yards. I sat on the Mt Airy side and great atmosphere. Met some folks from Avery. Dula was good back but Mt Airy had about three or four guys that could run him down. Big tackle to start the game to save a touchdown.

I think MA started taking a knee on the 5-yard line with I thank 55 seconds left and a 1st down. GOOD COACH !
He definitely called a good game. No sense in scoring fifty and they probably could have.
In my opinion ER was a much tougher opponent. Draughn got taken out of their game by the MA def. Stopped them every time they sniffed the goal line.
I heard 2 were there from Tarboro. I don't think they will see the same game plan for tonight. Just a hunch.

Congrats to Draughn on an outstanding season. MA Coaches had a great game plan that was well executed (minus a few penalties). Defense was flying to the ball all night. OL gave Mason plenty of holes and creases to run through (over 500 yds rushing & Mason with 290). Gallimore is a WARRIOR!!! Passing offense may be our Achilles heel. GO BEARS!!!
Where Draughn fans at it seemed they hung around after Andrew's game ole big Qb 6 ' 6 and Dula hey guys we will take on East Burke or Freedom if they want to scrap next year or even Patton lol
A little less air on the ball tonight and the QB would be spot on. A couple passes were just dropped. They just need to clean that up and they will be in great shape.

Draughn was a very good team..and you guys certainly pass the eye test..There was size and athleticism all over Draughn..Behemoth in size and height throughout the sidelines!!

After next year Draughn will be weak looks like they should be good again next year a lot of good SR for next year!!
I hate open enrollment. It should be banned by the NCHSAA ! All of Forsyth Co. has it but the NWC in the new realignment doesn't have to deal with any of their schools now. Got rid of WSPrep and Bishop.
