Draughn getting beat down pretty good. MA is a very good team.

5 years ago Tarboro played Mount airy at Carter Finley stadium in the state championship game. 5 years later we meet again it appears
Well I'm not surprised that Mt Airy could move the ball and score on Draughn just surprised that Draughn hasn't be able to score. But at least I was right about one thing Mt Airy is who I thought would win the West all year since they were so young last year.

Sounds like Tarboro on the other thread QB got ejected if that holds up he won't be eligible for the championship and while they don't pass much I'm sure that'll hurt their offense. Hopefully it was deserving and can be reversed with an appeal unless he did something really egregious I'd hate for the kid to miss it.

Mt Airy did what the rest couldn't run the ball with no mistakes and eat that clock though it really didn't matter keeping Draughn's offense on the side because Mt Airy played great defense. Just dominate on both sides of the ball.

Dula for Draughn is a great back. I’m surprised they did not get him more involved. They seemed to go away from him after that big run at the beginning of the game. They used him here and there, but I felt he could have been utilized more.
He had a huge play on that screen. He almost took it to the house
I agree with others seems that Draughn abandoned the run to quick in the beginning. But not sure it mattered.
