Oh puppy dog. Is someone upset. I don't believe I cussed. Maybe you'll get banned for your language. Or maybe you'll just stay on here and look like the fool you are. Oh don't forget that that kid that was his first game of his sophomore year as well. I'm sorry his second game. This is all equal your sophomores have got a year under their belts so does Mount Aries. I just love the fact that you guys are spinning balls on people when you score touchdowns. It might be a close game.

It was my pleasure back in the day to talk with OB at various city manager meetings. If memory serves correctly, he was Valdese's 3rd City Manager, replaced by Jack Hines and then I was asked to come there when Jack was retiring. I built a house there and had two of my 3 children there. Valdese has and is a very special place in my heart.
By the way, OB Stokes was a legend in City Management circles back in the day.

I could go back but to be honest it is just being petty, he said this and he said that! You guys should be bragging on your kids. They are a very good football team and deserve to be recognized. Likewise, the Draughn posters should be bragging on our kids because they too are a very good football team and deserve to be recognized. All I know is, come Friday night, two GIANTS are going to lock horns to win a regional championship and the opportunity to represent the West in the State Championship! Both have explosive offenses and both have stingy defenses and it is going to be one hell of a game!

Thanks for the kind words about OB. I thought pretty highly of him, but just a tad biased. Very fortunate to have OB and Bucky Reep of McDowell County as uncles. Great guys and men of high character.
Spent fourteen years in Thomasville in a role very close to our city manager. Takes a special person to do that job well. Kudos yo you and others who do that work.

MA posters have shown respect. Don't threaten to do something and not. Why even say anything unless you being a pot stirrer. We have all said will be tough game.

Massey ratings predicted Mt Airy 37-20 over ER. It picked Draughn 34-31 over Andrews.
Calpreps predicted Mt Airy 31-27 over ER. It picked Andrews 35-27 over Draughn computer got that one wrong.

Well I woke up this morning knowing that today is the day! But then I looked at the clock that also shows the date and realized it is only Tuesday. What a BUMMER. LOL
But it gives me/us more time to plan our tailgating and to make sure the seat warmers on the home side bleachers are working properly.
