I’m not affiliated with any one school, just have some inside information on many mountain area schools so I couldn’t really care less just was pointing out that the recruiting that has gone on at Draughn, goes on at every school now where there’s some success. It’s the new way of life.

Don’t make excuses? How would you guys have handled your qb or dual going down? Injuries are part of the game. He is a difference maker. Don’t believe me? Go ask your boys coaches to let you watch film. It’ll change your mind real quick. Enjoy your year of fame. There’s a huge difference that separates the SMC and your all county program. We are there EVERY YEAR. I guess it’s nice to see some new faces once every 20 years.
This is fun. Just keep it classy! SMC yall are a great great conference..but you guys are spoiled rotten..you're aren't entitled to win it every year..but when you do..you do it with class....now just take your loss the same way....with class.
Hard to these cocky people are so arrogant and uncaring of their opponents I understand when you first start winning sometimes you dont know how to act, I remember my first beer lol, but have some humility and sportsmanship

It’s not entitlement. It’s expectation. Kids, coaches and fans all expect it. It doesn’t always happen but we sure aim high.
we will see. I’d like to see Murphy or Robbinsville get ahold of y’all next year. Andrews unfortunately won’t have another year like that for a very long time.It’s been fun on this thread yall. I was impressed with the film we had on y’all and I never said one bad word about Andrew’s before this game. All I said was it would be a good matchup. 55 votes to 14 for Andrew’s. The better team won the game.

yeah..but you're not taking your loss with class..and let's be real Andrews..you have had an amazing couple of year run..but the "we're there every year"..is riding on coattails just a bit..because you guys havent...You're good now..but will Andrews sustain it..i know you have small enrollment..you guys have set a prescedence with what you have done...kind of like Elkin in the early mid 2000s..but Now there is no subdivision.
I’m a Robbinsville guy first of all. Secondly, the SMC is there nearly every year. It’s a constant 4 rounds deep, state championship, 4 rounds deep. SMC represents in the deep round of the playoffs nearly every year.
Why not? As an SMC poster I can razz my own conference; plus it is entirely factual considering the history at play here.
Like I said you people cant win with class, a one and out team everyone will be ready for you next year so enjoy it savor the flavor Heritage and Mitchell will spank you next year I'm going to retire early just to help get em ready

Great season Andrews...As always great run SMC...I expect MA to go this deep next year as well to face one of you guys....Mt.Airy returns just about everybody.
Why? It is harmless and factual, especially when compared to a lot of the things I see people say on here.
I’ve respected Andrews since the day I first strapped up and stepped on the field against them, doesn’t mean I won’t tease them, we all do.
You wont hear much bad said about Andrew's they are a class act I underestimated them two years in a row no disrespect no quit in em congrats to those kids heck of a two seasons
Yeah we know. I think next year's seniors will be the last group of players that were on their championship team in '08.....
A few thoughts on the game now that I'm at the house.
#5 for Draughn played well tonight. The line did a great job for him.
#1 didn't live up to his jersey number. Just not very impressed overall. A lot of little drag passes and dumps. I've seen a lot better QBs at the 1A level over the years. Harsh reality is he's undersized and doesn't have speed.
Andrews passed too much for my liking tonight. Definitely not their bread and butter, but I saw Weaver walking to the sideline early on and knew something was up. The dropped pass he had in the 4th wide open ended the hopes of keeping it close. And that INT from the batted pass was probably that lineman dream as he barreled towards the end zone. He'll be talking about that for a long time.
Other than that, I stood by a couple guys from Valdese that were good to chat with by the end zone. Hope everyone who came had a safe trip back down to the flatlands.

The Andrew's folks haven't said one thing out of line about this game its Mitchell, Cherokee, Murphy, Robbinsville and so on nobody wants to see Draughn win they have quickly became the most hated program in the 1a west so congrats lol
Next year heck what about this year we'll give them boy's run for there money next week at our house
