At this point, I'd have some of the starters out of the game. Swain isn't going to threaten anything offensively.
You're all like the ACC in basketballSwain, Hayesville and Cherokee were all 1-4 in conference play. Swain beat Cherokee, Cherokee beat Hayesville, Hayesville beat Swain. Crazy year.
65 has been banged up all year but still plays. 2 and 5 are real good but #7 and another 9th grader are back and both can play. Defense returns 9 starters and offense like 8. Got a 6'2 JV QB that will take the reigns and be just fine. He is fast and can throw the ball around.Hope #65 is OK. I guess he dislocated his shoulder or got a good stinger on the play where he was flagged for tackling our guy waaay out of bounds. And I'm guessing #62 will be out since he was ejected for throwing a punch (which I didn't see from the camera watching it online). Didn't seem to hurt your defense too much.
How is losing #2 and #5 going to affect you guys next year?
Wasn’t really a punch, but still stupid.Hope #65 is OK. I guess he dislocated his shoulder or got a good stinger on the play where he was flagged for tackling our guy waaay out of bounds. Dang if it wasn’t a punch that’s a shame, didn’t see it due to the camera. Good game all around, just a few plays and momentum shifts decided this thing. Swain has got to eliminate the mistakes if they want to be competitive next year.Wasn’t really a punch, but still stupid.
Certainly will hurt to lose those kids, but there’s a freshman that will be better than either. Played jv QB, but could play several positions. Good group of juniors, with several good underclassmen. We shouldn't fall off much, if any. When we lost our best player for the year in July and the East-West offensive MVP graduated, I never thought we’d get this far.
