I'm a Homer so I'll take Hibriten over anyone but I do believe we're pretty big underdogs.
Wow I just looked and their 5 losses all came to a 4A team who has advanced to the 2nd round as wellā¦. Definitely think we will have our hands full Friday night but as they say thatās why you play the game!!!
If WC had the states #1 Running Back that was declared ineligible before the season they would probably be a 3A favorite.
Idk about putting them over Km as the favorite but definitely in the discussion
I see KM winning it all. West Charlotte is a school with rich past tradition, fell down for a while prob due to other schools being built and pulling athletic tallent but seems they have bounced back. The 90s tney weāre a super 4A power house and coached by Tom Knotts. Even a local fella from around here had a one year thing with WC and thatās coach Helms. But this year in the 3A itās KM. But them and WC oughta be a good game.

Smothers transferred to WC in the off season from Chambers but was ruled ineligible. At this point in the season I donāt know why it is even being brought up. He never got to play one game with them.
I was just pointing out they may have been a 3A favorite with him. He was the best back in the state and didn't get to play a single down.
Smothers is special. One of the best high school backs that Iāve seen and Iāve seen alot. He will play as a freshman at Oklahoma next season guaranteed.
WC by 14 or possibly more. WC is fast and athletic. Well coached.

Oh great. You get to hear and see the planes landing and taking off during the game (CLT Airport). Stadium is right in the flight pattern.

Maybe they move this game up a day. Dont want to sit in a rain game. LOL.
Word I was told, Hibriten will be playing on Friday, turf field. In the rain, unless something unexpected changes.
Rain may move out by game time. Hopefully.
I really believe West Charlotte will roll on in this one. Much better conference season they went through. That competition should help them here. And maybe more team speed.
West Charlotte looks athletic with a pretty good defense. Offense looks pretty vanilla but with there athletes they will break some plays.
I doubt they see the triple option much so hopefully we can move the ball on Offense and make a game of it.

The triple option could be a difference maker in this game. I'm sure WC hasn't seen that this season. And it's tough to practice with scout O if you don't run it.
Iām not sure which QB you seen on the film but I will say our starting QB is probably one of all best athletes on the team and has done damage all year when he has been healthyā¦ Now I wonāt promise it still wonāt be a 15-25 point game but he gives us our best chance to move and score
I would venture to say he's talking about jv qb that filled in or Coby when he was banged up.

#7 is starter but he was banged up a few games and didn't run much. He's the fastest kid on team. It takes him a few steps to get going but he can fly in the open field.
Sometimes film doesnt show how good someone actually is. Expecting a great game. No team is in the 2nd round thinking they dont belong
Simmons has WC by 26 hope we can keep it closer than that and make a ball game of it.

I'm hoping! I think our fellows have already outperformed anybody's expectations. Not bad for a 2A team playing up.
