Whoa…. Draughn killed Mitchell and I feel like they will do the same with mount heritage. I’m not claiming that they draughn are a state championship team this year but to I honestly see them making it to the third round. I will put Draughn’s offense with both RBs, QB, TE, and receivers against any team in the west. Mount airy is a force but I feel just like Mitchell they will underestimate them because you truly have to pick your poison

Well as far as Draughn if you're doing a opinion poll yeah you'd definitely put them higher than 14th.
But in the RPI their non-conference games killed their owp @ .2222 their non-conference opponents have a combined record of 5-31 then you go into the conference play which you zero control over it's not a whole lot better @ 16-39.

The current projections have one side loaded in the West with Andrews, Murphy, Thomasville, Draughn, Mitchell and a few other good teams. The other side has ER, MA as the front runners with N Rowan and E Wilkes as potential upset teams.

While there'll be some possible moving around from #2-#9 after Friday's games Mitchell looks pretty set at #10 which translates to #11 seed unless ether a Mitchell lost to Avery or a Robbinsville lost to Hayesville in which case I believe Mitchell & Hayesville would switch places.

I wish someone would predict the playoffs...not just place the 1st six and the rest in order as they are now in rpi

CCC is much better overall. Salisbury, E Davidson and N Rowan. Who matches up to them in the NW 1A? MA, EW and Starmount are solid but they do not play the teams the CCC faces overall competition.

Its funny because you can throw SD in that list too, they beat North Stokes.

If these predictions holds up and you've got Christ the King vs Bishop McGuinness playing in the first round, they play Friday night so I would think wether or not B.McG decides to play them again the following week will depends on how the Friday game goes if they get blown out I'd say CTK might get a bye.

Yeah I don't see that big of a junk from drawn from what 52 points getting their rear end kicked by Mount airy last year. They ain't making that up in one year. Plus both teams are aged to the same. Loaded with juniors. Difference is Mount airy will get to him. He can't take it.

There's no way either one of them will surpass Eastern Randolph. They went out they are the easy number one seed look at their points

Technically there is no strength of schedule hurting or helping anyone in NCHSAA RPI. Just WP, OWP and OOWP…
Also if, and that’s a big if, ER wins Friday I don’t believe there’s any team that can be ranked ahead of them mathematically speaking. A loss might make it more interesting however.

It is considered strength if you play tough teams that are also playing and winning. That is where rpi comes in
For some teams to have a weak conference it hurts rpi no matter how bad you beat them.
