Just as I feared. When playing a quality opponent swain unfortunately doesn’t look good. Not a lot of discipline. Momma knows best. Hope the boys can get it figured out.
That opponent was legit with speed and a QB that swain won't see in 1A football. This game will make them better as a team and really shock swain held them to 14 point as it could had been alot worse.as the D stayed on the field all night. This team is young and with a new offense will only get better

Unlike when your son played ball, this year we don't have 19 seniors. And I am thinking you son was.one of the former Coaches, which is why you seem to have a chip on your shoulder. #8?
Oh Kevin honey you don’t even wanna try to start guessing who I am. I have long been a fan of Swain no matter who the coach is unlike yourself. No chip here just call it like I see it. A lot of offsides penalties and unsportsmanlike calls for a lack of discipline.

My post have nothing to do with wins or losses. I wish they’d win every game. I’ve stated I don’t like the strictly shot gun offense, due to the fact that if a bad snap occurs, like it did multiple times last night, it can be devastating. Swain has not played quality opponents and seemed to lack some discipline with dumb penalties and couldn’t seem to tackle anyone last night. If they struggled with #3 last night then I worry about Weaver, Martin and Adams in conference play. Some of the local coaches are extremely questionable characters but I believe everyone should have a chance if they qualify. But there should only be one chance not a 3rd or 4th.
Swain fans should all keep in mind that the new coach needs time to rebuild things. So far it seems things are moving in the right direction, but he will need time to correct issues he did not create.
Swain never struggled with #3 but once when he was hit by 3 players that didn't wrap up but that was one play. 19# and 10# were their stud and don't think the 3 u spoke of above is better then them but will find out in 2 weeks for sure.
I forget that games can’t be won on 1 broken play where you miss multiple tackles………

I mean if you need to build them up to justify the loss, so be it. We were there and played a somewhat healthy Smoky team. If 5 is fully healthy I’d give smoky the slight edge. Dade QB is good but that’s about it.
I can tell you right now that we are fixing to play the best team we have seen on the field all year Thursday night. They are better up front than Dade and Smoky, I watched both teams gonna be thought sledding for us I think
Not that I care about your opinion, neither should put much faith in my opinions. However I refuse to debate who is tougher team. Leads to a long and fruitless posts.
