Def top 3. Remember everyone said the same thing last year. Lol East Surry is always having to prove somebody wrong. Good for them...because so far...they have.

Boaz never played a defensive snap against starmount idk abt ma and west stokes also i dont know this for sure but id imagine some of their ol are also their best defensive lineman. Those guys didnt play much on defense against starmount either. I dont think any of us have seen east surry at their best yet, and if you dont believe boaz is a difference maker on defense ask maiden last year.

They have different set of linemen for offense and defense. A few will play both ways at times. For most part they dont play both ways. Boaz didnt play D against MA

Taking what everyone says about East Surry as gospel, AND I do, Mt Airy played then to a 2 point game and shut them down in the 2nd half, how is Mt Airy ranked 4th in 1A?
I agree polls at this point in the year are interesting but not all that important or even accurate in terms of where the teams will be at the end of the year. BUT, they are there and I would like somebody to explain in plain english how they arrive at their rankings. LOL

It will come down to 4 teams in the 1a west with Mt airy being one of them. With the competition that Mitchell is playing if they are not beat up I give them the front runner now.

I agree 100% and like I said I think in crunch time late in the season boaz will play both ways

Without attempting to upset anybody, but I know whom they are but when your 0-3, seem hard to justify a top ten ranking. Again I know what they can be, but no wins yet and still ranked?

I don't think so at all. Crest JV team got curb stomped by burns...... Shelbyville is super overrated

Agree. and Swain would be not fielding a team because they would all be injured. Shelby is still the top 5 of all 2a. I sure don't want to play them.

Just think 0 & 3 isn't a.justice. and I agree Swain would be hurting, but a 1 & 4 with Swain as their only win wouldn't carry much weight for this team. Heck we are still trying to learn not to fumble the ball seven times a.game.
