Man, I hope your right 98. I want to see the whole conference be a bloodbath in October. But honestly I don't see it. What I do see this year is Mitchell dominating everyone (not trying to be a homer), Heritage struggling early and coming around towards the end of the season(no one can wring guts out of his kids like Joey), Avery make a vast improvement(I've said it before, but I really like Farmer and think he'll put them on the right track), Madison win a few games (maybe get a winning season), Draughn playing some good ball (possibly giving Mitchell a run) Owen winning where they should, but not getting a signature win, and Rosman likely going winless.

Again, I'm not trying to be a Homer, but Mitchell looks to be head and shoulders above everyone in the conference. 2nd-5th could be a knockdown drag out, or there could be a 4 way brawl to stay out of the basement.

This looks like the conference of back in the 00's, when it was owen, then everyone else, and there was no telling. Should be either really fun, or a complete snoozer. Time will tell.

Mitchell moved the ball at will vs Enka without Turbyfill running a single time and being called down on a tag when passing. I truly believe this is the best backfield they’ve ever had. No more keying on the QB. If teams do they will get gashed. Not boasting but Turbyfill has a lot of help this year. I really don’t know how he survived last last year. I think Draughn finishes second and the Horses and Green team battle it out for third.

Man it must be tough to have a bye week, week 1. I know the kids are ready to play. But on a bright note it gives the new staff extra time to get things installed.

Not sure what the deal was/is with Turbyfill. They must fill he is ready and healthy though.

Go Mountaineers
I asked his grandmother tonight at church about the hernia she said he's doing fine they've been treating it was no need for surgery, she believes he got it lefting weights.

Regular season anywhere from 7-3 to possibly 9-1. I think Chase Draughn and Mitchell are the big games. I think Heritage is a big one as well. I just think our experience and improvement that we will take them down
Are you being serious?? 7-3 or 9-1 for Owen is a far stretch. I’ll be glad to eat the crow and drink the Kool-Aid if I am wrong. I think they should probably beat Albermarle, North Hendo, Rosman, Madison, and Avery. 5-5 at best….not bashing or starting an argument with you but just being real.

We put the ball on the ground 5-6 times vs West Hendo last year with a lesser team than we have now as well. That is very winnable. They should be improved as well

5-5 and and a better conference record than Madison puts the Swanny’s in with conference champions in the seedings for the playoffs.

That’s waaaay better than an opening round with Shelby.
I hope it happens….same goes for Madison as well.😉

Boy were my predictions wrong lol
Who won in any of them didn't surprise me but it was the margins of some of them. MH & TJ 0 points? Of course it's been said on here that MH is down this year and Chase is up but is Draughn that good or TJ that bad? Even Madison I figured they'd lose and possibly by a pretty good margin but not that bad.

My son went and watched the Chase/Mh game last night and he said that MH looked like a JV team
I was also talking to some TJ guys and they said that this year would be a pretty down year but I’m sure they didn’t think it was gonna be getting curb stomped by Draughn bad 😂

Well it's hard to win when you have 23 sophomores on your varsity. Plus chase is very strong might be best team we play all year . Their line avg around 275 lbs or more also that one linemen is division 1 and their running back will play next level . Cannot get down on the kids they played hard . Joey will get them better each week

TJ is way down. Lost a hall of fame coach and a lot of athletes.
