Robbinsville non conference schedule

Only have Asheville week one so far.
I'm wondering if we keep the covid replacement teams or the teams original on last year's schedule.
The only teams I remember on the original schedule was Mountain Heritage,Smoky Mtn and Asheville. The Heritage and SM games got cancel. The replacement teams were Broome SC,
Lenoir City Tennessee, Brevard. We only had 4 non conference last year.
I guessing here and saying
Asheville
Lenoir city Tenn
Brevard
Mountain Heritage
Smoky
I'd like to see another Buncombe public school but not Enka. West Henderson?
Owen? Polk?

Robbinsville folks!!! Jump over that dreadful South Davidson thread and give them some hints about how you can be successful with 350 students. That community seems to think its impossible to win because they are small.

Enrollment sure makes a difference.
Robbinsville plays like a much bigger school but we do have a bad season every few years. 2012 and 2016 we won about 7 games combined.
Having one of the toughest schedules in 1a every year helps Robbinsville over come being such a small secluded county.

I think the small secluded county is why you remain so strong. Less for kids to do so they play ball.

To me Graham County has more to do than any other places I can think of. If you like out door actives.
4 lakes.
Fontana Village
The Dragon
Some of the best off road riding in the Southeast.
Cheoah River makes Nantahala River look like a kiddie pool.
Voted best trout fishing in state.
Good amount of snow.
I never run out of things to do
You either love it or hate it.

I'm old school though. I wish Robbinsville could go back in time 25 years.

BK, As a problem with schools like SD, many schools surrounding it and move can be without a lot of travel issues. Is that the case in Robbinville? I also know that winning tradition will stop transferring. Do you get kids from surrounding counties, do some disgruntled ones leave for other counties or for the most part are you remote enough to stay out of this fray?

We rarely pick up a transfer for sports we did get two for wrestling. One from Murphy and one from Hayesville. That's not the norm.
The closest schools to Robbinsville is Andrews and Swain both are over 30 minutes away. Then Murphy 50 minutes
Hayesville over1 hr. Cherokee 50 minutes. Not much moving around here.

We only have RES, RMS, and RHS.
A kid here is a Black Knight from day one. Some other schools have different feeder schools.

Those generally aren't things that keep kids from playing football though. Not like the things kids could be doing in a more metropolitan environment. Friday night in Robbinsville is only for one thing.
