Im not a Tarboro/Pender fan but I hope however they play in the championship gets their ball kicked over the fence LMBO. Saying the East dont have any competition is a disrespect. Could it be that Tarboro is just that good?

After Tarboro probably only one or two eastern teams in top ten and those will be around ninth and tenth. It's just a fact that 1a east is weak.

And the 1A west is top heavy...Its hard to rank a true top ten because they will never meet besides the championship. If Tarboro was in the west they still would be winning.
Yes Tarboro would but they might get put out b4 the state title some years. Running threw the top 5 is harder than....The east.
I seriously doubt that. If they beat your best year in and year out, what makes you think your 2nd or 3rd best would do it. Murphy barely beat Northside last year
They also held Northside to their fewest points all year...... in a state title game. The SMC has heard this stuff for the last 3 decades and still puts out because it's about matchups, not track meets and comparing scores.
Because cake walk through the East is easier than playing top four seeds in the playoffs back to back.
Look at last year. Most ppl would agree Robbinsville had the best small 1A team.
Guess who won the West. Murphy. Not taking anything away from Murphy. They did exactly what they needed to do to win. It was one of their best season. Robbinsville played Mitchell and Murphy back to back.
And Tarboro would walk the dogs on them still!!!!! 1st round, 2nd, State championship. DONT MATTER
No disrespect intended. Tarboro's starters normally play till half time and that's it. In the West we have war's for about 2 to 3 weeks prior to the finals and injuries mount up. Tarboro is good enough to cake walk into the finals a very, very healthy team. Is the East that weak or Tarboro that good ? Debate to follow ?
The East is weaker than the West TBH but Tarboro is still that good.
And won with their starting QB going down early in the 3rd Q when he was lighting up Northside's secondary. Anyone who believes that didn't have a big effect on the final scoreline is kidding themselves, Murphy QB had 277 yards passing in a little over 2 quarters of football. Credit to Northside, they completely shut Murphy's running game down with that really good d-line of theirs, but once Murphy went to the air they had few answers. Murphy wins that game by a few more scores without the Rumfelt injury.
I’m currently watching that game on my dvr. How would you compare this years team to last years?
This fall's team is a lot more explosive offensively when they're clicking. Last spring's team was bigger and better on the o-line and d-line, along with a better group of linebackers.
But...all we hear over here is how east football is weak with no competition because Tarboro is always winning, yet out west we already know before the season that it'll be Murphy, Robbinsville, Mitchell, Don't forget Cherokee won a title just a few years ago and SWAIN has won I don't KNOW how many. Look for Andrews to be competitive statewide next year as well. So there are more than just 4. In the East, if Tarboro is IN the East they should be the hands down favorite to win. Yes, I believe the fact is the East is weak overall, not only in 1a but 2A as well. The best in the East may well win the title, but you can be certain that they had a lot easier road to travel to get TO that game year in, and year out than whoever comes out of the west.
